Jane Lee Hooker is a five-member women's band from New York City. They musically refer to Muddy Waters, Howlin 'Wolf, Johnny Winter, Big Mama Thornton and other blues greats - with their two lead guitars and genre-typical rough vocals as their hallmark.
The band exists in this lineup since 2013 - previously all have collected years of stage experience in a variety of rock and punk formations - at Nashville Pussy about, at Bad Wizard or the Wives. Jane Lee Hooker is considered a "blues monster who knows how to whisper in your ear first, before stomping your heart hard."

Meine Güte, bei der Abmischung ist aber was ganz schief gelaufen. Die eine Gitarristin hört man ja fast gar nicht. Wirkt fast als wenn ihr Ton nur indirekt über andere Mikros aufgenommen wurde.
