Hey good sir, thanks for sharing this. I still got my doubts so, may i ask you a few questions? I really want to know what is the maximum current this circuit can handle, i read down in the comment section that it depends on the relay current. So if i use a 24 volts / 5 amps relay, it will trigger at 5 amps (or so)?
If you use 24V 5A relay it will give 5A .but however the current protection will be not trigger by drowing current . if you short the output then the protection works.
Hi, friend. Good idea, let me ask you a question. Can we know why the whole thing works if we connect several in parallel (voltage sharing) and short one? What I want is to connect 20 of them in parallel and use them for each circuit.
😊 IT WORKS BUT This can be used with Motors / Led ... But if you use it for Sensitive electronic like Andruno or something .. That can damage it because . there are Unwanted Oscillation of relay and the relay create voltage spike easily ... AND JUST USE A BIGGER RELAY FOR Higher CURRENT not need to use 20 of them 🤗
sir you are design very well cicruit.sir can i use this circuit for4.2volt auto cut off battery charger.and what value of resistor use in place of 1k plese reply.
Dear Brother, Circuit is very nice , but it could be more better if you showed how to connect the short-circuit protection system with the voltage regulator circuit! that's why I couldn't be able to Understand the end of the project? Thanks again.
I made a power supply using xl4016 buck boost convertor (0-12v variable) wondering if I can use this at output? Also, I will the relay effect constant voltage?
Great video, Bhai, ye protection circuit ki out put suplly ( dc volt ) ko, remot on/off switch circuit mei ( cd 4017 ice ki 8 or 16 no. Ki leg pin mei ) IN PUT karwaye to dono circuit saath mei chhalu ( ON ) hoga, or ON hoga to remot on/off switch circuit ko protection dega ( karega ). please tell me bhai.
Sir, There's no latch when I pressed the push switch.. how is it? Is it in the relay? What happens is. when I press & hold the push switch to light the green LED, again, it has no latch and it is not working properly. Where do you think do I start troubleshooting?
The relay switches off AFTER and because the power supply has been overloaded already.Try this with a car starter battery, and it will burn your relay or the cables. Press the button while the output is shortened, it will destroy the button. Try this with an unprotected AC adapter, it will destroy the adapter. Try this with a protected AC adapter and ask yourself if you need this relay. The button is not suitable for 10A.
Sims like all the problems about output supply voltage protection are solved with a so simple cirquit... but no... for those who don't understand the cirquit , when the short cut happends we are making a short curt in the power supply, not only in the relay, so, the voltage drops and make an instability in the supply of the relay to keep active and cut it, this is what makes the protection, but if the power supply don't have an protection inself against short cuts in her output we have a big problem, or, if the power supply have an protection , charges up to 1 ampere can make sparks in the relay contacts that can with time or dependin on the load, in the firs short cut burn the relay contacts an fix the contacts soldering them becouse of the soark, making the turn off of the relay impossible and create an short cut ininterupt, what may cause damages to the cirquits verry bad, risk of fire or something like this. I think that less than 500ma and 9 volts of charge maximum it's safe, more than that is verry dangerous. And make shure that your power supply have an protection for the short cut that this cirquit will cause in the protection mode.
Always like your video 😍
😃
Really it's work .thank you bro❤
Welcome
nice work 🚮
Thanks

Nice can i use it for 4V battery
Yeas
Use 6V relay..!
@@Electronic_For_You
Oh Thanks....!
can i use it for a 1.25V supply?
No
It depends on relay
Is the push switch you used is normally open always or to close and open type like normal switch
Its normal switch
Thank you. Can I use this for 10 ampere power supply 13.8 volts
Yeas
Even my relay is 12 volts but use it for 13.8 volts output is it possible
Yeas
But not more then 14V
Wich type of realay?
Normal 12v relay
@@Electronic_For_You bistable or monostable?
Is the JQC-3F (T73) 12vdc good?

All same but you need to use 5v Relay
@@Electronic_For_You THANK YOU SIR.
can i use this for 3.7v protection
If you have 5V relay
Then it can be used for 3.7v
am I to need to change Resistor value?

Connect this circuit at output of Voltage regulator 🙂

Good job
I think xl4016 has shortcut protection

Can this circuit be used for AC 220V? (replace with 22Vac relay)
No , its not possible
12 volt Relay mey 13 volt ya maximum 14 volt de sakte hai koiyee problem toh nhi hogi na
Can you tell me in english 😊
Does it work on maximum 13 volt to 14 volt dc......?
Yes
Hi,
What parts should I use for a 40 volt 10 amp power supply?
You can try with bigger relay

Frist check your switch .
Second if doesn't work try changing relay maybe relay is bad

This is for small Power supply's. Not for car battery.
And its made for 12V Powersupply. its a easy and fun project. Don't take it seriously 😐
maximum current??
Depends on relay current
