Rightly divided , this teaching is error. Marriage covenant can be broken. Romans chapter 7, death, Mathew chapter 19, fornication, 1Corinthians chapter 7, desertion. God ordained marriage for life but people even in our day, still have hardness of heart. Moreover, it takes two people to have a marriage, a man and a woman.
@@EPAmb I once had the mindset of once married always married until the Lord opened up my understanding. No preacher should be teaching this error or anything that he has not thoroughly studied and asked for revelation knowledge (note) revelation knowledge. It is true no divorce for any cause but there are exceptions. The preacher must study, Old testament, New testament and the gospels to get clear understanding. It is clear according to scriptures there are no foundational apostles, however, there are men who have the gift of apostle and must build upon the foundation but not make up doctrine. Fornication breaks the marriage covenant, Jesus Christ stated. Unbeliever departs breaks the marriage covenant, apostle Paul inspired by the Holy Ghost wrote. Yes, there are many who have been married 40 of 50 years, I commend that but for one to be arrogant and self righteous teaching no matter the situation in marriage, a person is bound is error. Also, I question whether a man has the gift of apostle but teach contrary to scriptures rightly divided. Some preachers are sound in some areas of doctrine but have a closed one track mind in other areas of doctrine or just complete ignorance to the whole counsel of God. Many preachers try to put a burden on people that he cannot bear his own self if his wife divorced him. Remarriage is not a sin if the divorce was scripturally allowed. I don't have to be married to have the revelation.
