When the player is able to travel to a different planet at the start of the game, travel to Dathomir. The enemies give a bunch of XP. I farmed it for about an hour and got 10 skill pts. Goto the meditation spot and keep resting and respawning enemies. Plus the double bladed saber is there. Thx for sharing!!
1) You can pull enemies towards you and hold them in the air to use as meat shields for incoming blaster fire (as long as you have enough force energy to keep it up). 2) You can push and pull enemies while wall running! Very useful during certain parts of the game. 3) Pulling enemies so they stagger towards you always gives you a free hit and is an excellent way to start a combo against tough enemies 4) Different enemy types can and will fight each other if you back off and give them enough space. Grab some popcorn and then finish off the victor. NOTE: You will not get the xp if one enemy kills another! 5) When resting at a meditation point, click out and leave literally as soon as you click “rest”. You don’t have to wait for the notification that enemies will be respawned, you can spam the exit button immediately. This saves a lot of time when xp farming enemies over and over. 6) For XP farming Dathomir is THE BEST place to do it early-mid game (not sure about late game, I’m currently playing now). The second meditation point (after you fight the two warriors and swing on the two vines to get to the meditation point) is the best place because enemies are relatively weak and spawn 3 at a time, but give high xp rewards. 7) You can force push the bloated proximity plants towards enemies to make them blow up and damage your foes from a distance. This can also be done to destroy certain structures to reveal goodies and secret areas... 8) You don’t have to have an enemy targeted to parry them. If you’re surrounded, you can still parry any enemy from any direction (even behind you). 9) Throwing enemies into each other damages them all. An achievement can be acquired for doing this. 10) There’s an achievement that can be unlocked for throwing multiple enemies off of cliffs... 11) Hacking other machines with BD-1 allows them to fight for you, and is a great way to get some help on tough enemies. You can also get an achievement for destroying an enemy with a hacked enemy... 12) Most enemies can be countered and staggered when glowing red, either with a strike or with force powers. Bigger/tougher enemies will not be staggered, and should be avoided unless you are confident you can get in a quick strike and dash out. 13) Slowed enemies will ALWAYS return to their normal speed after you hit them ONCE! No matter how weak they are, any damage you deal automatically cancels the slow force power effect. 14) The double-bladed lightsaber is much more effective than the single blade for deflecting numerous blaster shots from multiple enemies (and the blaster enemies with shields). Single-blade lightsabers can deflect shots as well, but cannot keep up when heavily outnumbered and taking heavy blaster fire from all sides. Use the double-blade until you have the situation under control. 15) Explore, explore, explore... Check your map to find out exactly where you need to go to progress the story, and then go everywhere BUT there until you are satisfied you’ve seen/found everything you can. There are a lot of secret areas with interesting lore and/or rewards for finding them, and a great amount of xp can be gained from exploring alone! 16) Don’t forget to revisit previous planets/areas once you’ve unlocked more force powers! Some of the things you find are very very good (extra stims, zip line modifications to go upwards on the line instead of only down, health/force bar upgrades, etc). 17) Enemies will spot you more easily if you have your lightsaber out and ready. Put it away to remain stealthy for as long as possible. However, it’s impossible to completely sneak up on them for an assassination kill, so don’t waste your time trying. 18) Ogdo Bogdo is a piece of shit. If you’re taking him on at the very beginning of the game on harder difficulties, prepare to die. A lot.
thank you very much for spending time on writing this man, you're a legend, I was thinking I'm very shit at the game once I started and went on to face ogdo bogdo hahahahah

@@KaneDeath4 The game is definitely not slow paced (unless playing on max difficulty where enemy damage is very high) and even though you have 3 basic powers (slow time, push, pull) you can upgrade them to do more than one thing each. I just wish it was consistent and the camera angle was pulled out a bit. I feel like the lock on is very wonky sometimes. I think the problem is with the right stick. I still try to use it as a camera and end up changing targets.

Great video, love ur honesty, I'm actually looking forward to play this game, and fight the 2nd and 9th sister, so, hyped! 🙂 Question, which boss was ur favorite to fight saber wise, for me, until I play it, it seems like it'll be the 2nd sister, she looks tough, fun, and equally difficult. 🙂
Kinda random but I think the protagonist of this game is the strongest Jedi in the series because I can’t recall one who can alternate between a single, double, and dual saber and fight well with it.
game feels like ESO combat but with less buttons and more emphasis on thought out action rather then button mashing. struggling with certain things though specifically parrying on time it seems to be sort of wonky as well as blocking time to time.
Spoiler alert: you've been warned. My top tip, when you get to fight Malicos after coming back to Dathomir from Ilum, you need to be SUPER aggressive towards him.......well at least a lot more aggressive than any boss before. Parries are not gonna get the job done, you HAVE to break his block in order to do damage. He doesn't have a lot of block stamina but an essential part of breaking it is the double bladed lightsaber, the single blade is just too slow. Everytime you get an opening for a combo, go for it. He will block the shit out of you and probably even parry you. Just be ready for a quick dodge when he scores the parry and keep on him(avoiding red attacks of course) after about 3 combos his block will break, when you see that opening, use you split saber move. If you're quick enough you should score 2-4 regular hits and a split saber hit for big damage. Thoughout the fight he'll change tactics a couple of times just be ready to study him for a few vollies, adapt to his new tactics, and keep that pressure on. This seems like a really intimidating fight but its actually quite easy if you know what to do. Hope this helps anyone who's been struggling........May The Force be with you.

I love this game sooo much, and I'm so saad that i've finished it. And I'm so mad that I can't start another playthrough with all my abilities and lightsaber colors on higher difficulty...
Having the abilities would break a subsequent run, but it would be nice to keep the cosmetic stuff.
It took me less than 3 days to beat the game on regular mode an just under a week to finish on jedi master. This game was actually so easy but the exploration and Easter eggs were what were so cool

Scout Trooper at 5:22 said, "Ight bro, ima head out."
when i saw them NOT parrying the lesser nydak I immediately knew there wasn't gonna be anything in this video i didn't already know.
As for a tip, one of the cooler things you can do is force pull an Oggdo's tounge and chop it off
GREAT REVIEW, man!
I agree with pretty much everything you said.
3:21 i see Yoda's head in the rocks!!🧐
Dude! How the hell did you reflect the charged blaster bolt!? I always get hit by them and assume it's an unblockable attack. Sweet! No more hiding when my Force is low.
I deflect them but im mainly using the dual light saber or staff style. I dont think ive done it with a single handed light saber
Heck yea cant wait to play this
I make changes to my layout on my Xbox controller RT for attack and LT for Parry/Block, if you make those changes is going to be a better experience with the game.
Jose Colon personally I prefer how it is
Agreed. I changed it right off the bat
Battlefront controls lol
I was thinking about changing the button mapping....I’m always hitting LT for block and I just pull the enemy instead. Lol
@@Fresh_Baklava I think those are logical, as Pull and Push are damage related and block and slow are more defensive.
This is more like top 10 mechanics explained to you in the game that I re explain to you in case you weren't paying attention when you were playing the game.
Helpful video. Better than the others I've seen
Any tips for handling the sliding jumps from bridge to bridge
Wow, thank you so very much for this! I am struggling with learning this game like no other in a very long time. I think, in general, I suck at these timing critical combat types. I now have hope, with your tips, that I can try again with some patience and get over that hump to enjoy this beautiful game! Thx. 💜
Thank I got pretty far on the hardest difficulty def needed these tips !
Super helpful. These get me so psyched to head back into the game. Thank you. So sorry for this. Head not heat...
Damn Khraze you're almost getting to the 100k subs prediction 👀👀
Yep. I still remember it and my promise ;)
@@Khrazegaming Hahahaha such a legend
Not really a tip but information on kashyyyk when you get to the room with the lightsaber bench and you jump down normally a giant spider ambushes you seconds after you land I learned the other day sometimes the spider waits for you to start customizing and when you leave the table then it attacks you
Loving thr game and just went back to daffomir to further the story... great vid mate well done
This game reminds me so much of tomb raider
Tomb Raider has almost no action, this game takes the best of that and adds amazing combat. Win Win!
@@stedyshredy2772 idk about no action. To be fair the most recent tomb raider game was a lot more exploration and platforming based than the first two but tomb raider is full of action. The combat in this game is amazing though
@@Orangejulius4414 Im a huge TR fan, and at 33 years old, that goes all the way back to PS1! I was just saying that these games have evolved and button mashing is in the past. Exploring with memorable fights that are tough but once completed so rewarding! I am loving Fallen Order from the environments to the depth of characters in cut scences to the fighting mechinics.
@@Orangejulius4414 The last one was about coming to understand that tomb raiding was in fact tomb-robbing.
Force slow, use it as an opening to attack, then dodge away and repeat
For everybody that's having a hard time with this game you can extremely cheese bosses like for me I'm playing it on the hardest difficulty and if you find yourself dying repeatedly to the same boss or enemy you can change your difficulty setting at any time so turn it all the way down to easy kill the boss and put it back up as far as I know it doesn't have any effect on trophies or achievements anything like that
I did that on the frog (ogdan bogdan I think it's called 😋) 😂👍
I don’t understand why anyone cares about trophies and achievements lol to me it’s just about whether I want to challenge myself or not (not knocking you btw, I just always see people and tubers say this and don’t get it lol)
That’s not the way of a Jedi Grandmaster, I do not plan on changing the difficulty and will beat the game on the hardest difficulty.
Do the devs actually get anything from the purchases of the games bought through that site?
Hey plz don't judge me for this question but how do I flip? I'm not talking about double jumping, but I've seen people without the double jump do a flip on their single jump and I can't figure out how. I've already beat the game but it's been nagging me and I just NEED to know
Wahkeen 1.0 when you’re locked on to and enemy jump in any direction.
K thx
Awesome guide. Thanks!
What is the yellow BD1 skin i dont seem to have it
Max Joimy thanks
This video summarized... play the game exactly how it tells you through the tool tips and common sense.
Damn storm toppers and there bullets
Early dual lightsaber upgrade on Dathomir?
Farming skill points?
This is all quite obvious information.. a little to if you ask me.
I beat the game it’s shorter than what would like but story is good nothing really to do after
This probably isnt intended, but as someone with a small amount of free time to commit your comment has made me very happy. I loved the old jedi knight series and kotor, and this game looks like it might be fun. The idea that I can actually finish it without putting in like 40 hours makes me very happy.
captlaserrage no problem 😀
Great video, love ur honesty, I'm actually looking forward to play this game, and fight the 2nd and 9th sister, so, hyped! 🙂
Question, which boss was ur favorite to fight saber wise, for me, until I play it, it seems like it'll be the 2nd sister, she looks tough, fun, and equally difficult. 🙂
Nice video, cheers, 😎👍👍
This video should be called: 10 TIPS & TRICKS THAT ARE OBVIOUS, BUT YOU NEED TO WATCH 8 ADD'S IN 10 MINUTES SO HIGH FIVE!
He called blaster bolts bullets
*crate is green*
Guy in this Video: "The red ones"
They are red untill u get the upgrade to unlock them
Thank God for this video
I it funny that you actually need the high ground to insta kill/critical damage
Kinda random but I think the protagonist of this game is the strongest Jedi in the series because I can’t recall one who can alternate between a single, double, and dual saber and fight well with it.
Have you met Starkiller?
Why does everyone use orange? It doesn’t even look that good.
I went with the purple saber to me that's the coolest looking one
That’s an opinion
@@SuperZombiepimp damn i need that
@@rr-dy5ij well yeah I didnt say it was the best now
SuperZombiepimp I was talking about RustyRayne smh... I didn’t even @ you🤦♂️
You should also mention how to get the double bladed lightsaber early
Go to dathomeir first to get the dual saber then go to zeffo
Tip one. Meditate, Rest, leave and play with your three friends in Bogano.Repeat the process and your skill points will rise!
Me, who finished the game on Grand master : Hmmm lets find out
🤣
game feels like ESO combat but with less buttons and more emphasis on thought out action rather then button mashing. struggling with certain things though specifically parrying on time it seems to be sort of wonky as well as blocking time to time.
Have you tried turning Performance Mode on?
Bullets? U meant to say blaster bolts or lasers. There no slug throwers in this game like in Star Wars Repulic Commandos
I am playing in the hardest difficulty I am currently grinding hopefully get about 16-17 levels too max everything and I think in my 5 hour I was leaving bogano I took too long but I was trying to understand it because I never saw this type of game it’s very fun I think I have spent 50 hours and I think I haven’t even gone through half of the story I think
Something the game don't tell you at least not that I could tell you can force push grenades Rockets things like that back at the attackers and or at least push them away from you
"Most of these chests contain cosmetics for your character, droid and ship. So definitely keep an eye out for those"
I dont know if english if your first language. But you mispronounced "most of these chests contain useless cosmetics and can be ignored entirely."
Well its for ur character clothin lmao what else u want it to be
"Go to the 3rd or 4th planet" and that is? I've been playing non stop and I dont even remember what is the 3rd & 4th planet
Man I like the game but can’t do it. I’m on easy yes easy and get my ass kicked please help me! I just have a hard time running past enemy’s I need to kill everyone haha
If u feel the need to fly, press "force pause" then "Jump" over n over. .
Most health canisters I've got so far is 8
It’s out
4:51 lol
swear to God that oggdo boggdo thingy is more powerful than the chosen one
3:13 - No, these chests are not useful at all. In fact they are useless, as they only give vanity skins with no impact on the game. The only useful chests (VERY useful in fact) are the golden ones.
No more Anthem?
Waiting for a more substantial update. Still playing it but there's nothing important to cover for now.
It's funny bc every youtuber has their own little 2 or 3 word quip or phrase they always instinctively say constantly when talking about something that they're trying to explain or going on a short of rant. And after watching 4 of your videos I've realized your Quip is "Generally Speaking" or just using the word "Generally". I've counted at least 6 times where you've used the Phrase/Quip "Generally Speaking". lmfaoooo
this game feels like another play through of botW for me
Is there gonna be a multiplayer
Single player only
Multiplayer is just pandering to the idea that everyone wants to play with other people. A lot of players just want to play single without having to rely on other people to turn up. The only time I play multiplayer by choice is in MMOs.
Can someone please help me out?
There needs to be a NG+
I have 8 stems currently
If you played the souls games you will destroy all those who stand before you
I didn't know force echoes gave exp but I collected them just for lore lol
Love the game but im really disappointed that i cant hack the limbs off storm troops and just leave a red burn .ark slash across them....u only hack limbs off robots or the wild animals u fight.....i want a star wars game where i can dismember all enemies when their health is low enough
There is a free mod u can download that does just that!
Don't you think that, joraptor, guy has a weird accent?. I'm just joking right.😂
I want to see tricks like to defeat special enimies and not things you learn in tutorial like look at maps
just a minor suggestion,if your playing a game thats also on console then at least say " press F or the relevant console key" not just "press F twice" every platform is different so if your going to do tips and tricks videos at least consider that console players watch them and play the same game too not just pc players
