Since my brother and I couldn't convert the songs to mp3 before 2000, I actually recorded the OMF 2097 soundtrack from my computer to a cassette tape from an old stereo system. And until 2000, I'd actually listen to it in an old walkman.. lol! You might think it crazy, but this song got me through a lot of tough teenage-year transitions. That also goes for some tough times that I'd listen to it in my 20's. I guess you could say that it's a song about surviving against odds. Great for the ending.
Hahaha good idea, I'm going to play this while I'm walking down the street! XD I could kick the ass of like 5 people if they charged me while this music was playing.... Probably......
Jazz Jackrabbit? Too slow for these punches. Cossette? Sorry, sweetheart, try again next season. Ian Tavares? Not even a threat. Now lemme get back into my HAR, I've got a tournament of my own to finance...
You know I've never been able to find this track in it's own video before? While this game has pretty well known music, this track seems to have slipped under a lot of DOS music radar.
With Cyberpunk 2077 coming out potentially this year, I have a strong urge to have this playing in the background while my character strolls down the street. :)

As the hangar doors close on your robot, you can't help but think about the fight. Your heart races, your hands shake: you feel invulnerable.
OMF2097 still has one of the best soundtracks ever.
1:02 to 1:20 , the most soothing part
I remember hearing this in the shareware version when it asked you to buy the full version. :)

As the doors close... If you play the demo they then proceed you to show screenshots of other games like Jazz Jack Rabbit. Unforgetable.

Makes me wish I had a DS with this game. :[
