Salim and Jason are my two favorite characters in this game. Their friendship and Jason’s development were some of the better moments of the story in my opinion. I absolutely loved the scene where Jason goes back to help Salim especially and how he defended him in the credits. I really wish that we could get Clarice out alive but House of Ashes is a horror game and people do have to die some way or another.
I keep thinking if Eric use his ultaray on Clarice early she possibly can be save? Yes I damn like Jason and Salim!!

6:44 Between the detail they put in Jason's eyes, to make them look like they are tearing up, and the way Jason is talking, especially when he says "What the fuck?" This scene is just so powerful and heartbreaking. The way Paul Zinno acted was phenomenal. And the devs did a fucking amazing job. I will always keep it in my heart. ❤❤❤
I could honestly see Jason and Salim in a buddy cop movie.

In my opinion, Jason and Salim are possibly some of the best characters in the majority of video games I've played.
At the beginning of "house of ashes", Jason went from being a bit prejudice and intolerant to beginning more empathetic and guilty/shameful of his past actions towards the end of the game, especially when he explains to Salim about the checkpoint situation.
As for Salim, he's an overall amazing character with interesting dialogue, quick time events and personality. Most importantly, he just wants to go home and spend time with his son.
