- OEM mufflers swapped for Vibrant Performance StreetPower 1101 fully polished T304 stainless steel mufflers. No other engine or exhaust modifications. Lowered on BC adjustable coil-overs, aftermarket 20" wheels and Yokohama tires (only mentioned because it affects road noise).

Sounds great in my opinion. Subtle compared to most aggressive aftermarket, but it matches the premium/executive nature of the car, while still having enough sound for you to know there's a big V8 in there.
After watching this video I decided to go with this exact setup. Thank you for the great video! There's not many exhaust videos on the Q70L 5.6.

Sorry, one more thing. I noticed the mufflers are 2.25 out, but the tips are 2.50 in. Do they just fit inside the tips?
The 2.5 tips slip nicely over the 2.25 muffler outs. This way they can be easily adjusted and welded Without having to be cut and butt welded. Nothing wrong with that, just how I chose to do it.
So, I got the mufflers, got the tips, everything on. About how long for break in before they start getting some really good sound. Sound good right now, just a little quiet. Thanks again, very happy with these.
I don't recall how long it took. The interior sound never gets very loud, it sounds much better from the outside as you can tell from the video. Glad your happy with them as am I.
those sound really good! I want to get a couple for my M56. Can you tell me if they are center center or offset inlet and outlet? Where did you find them polished or did you polish them. Hope you get this and can answer so I can make my purchase. What about the tips also. What tips did you buy. Thank you
Thanks! The mufflers come fully polished and are center-to-center. They are Vibrant #1101 and are readily available on Amazon & eBay. The tips are from eBay, 2.5" in, 4" out stainless steel. Just make sure whoever does the welding for you knows what they are doing so they won't get welding slag all over you polished mufflers and tips.

I am happy with their sound. They do break in slow and will be a little quiet when new, but sound better and louder once they have. These cars run rich so be ready for dirty tips.
BC adjustable coil-overs. They are an easy install. No noises or issues so far.
So did you just do the mufflers. Or change ya pipes too. I’m getting ready to do something to my M56s
