I have read a few comments here where people ask if a standard mirror can be replaced with one having the turn signal option will the turn signal work? The answer is: yes and yes. I have a 2004 Trailblazer EXT and my wife has a 2006 Trailblazer. Neither had the turn signal mirrors. I got two pairs of turn signal mirrors from my local automotive recycling facility (sorry, Mike!) and installed them. Both trucks now have functioning turn signal mirrors! I don't know about the Envoy, Ranier, Bravada, or 9-7X but on the Trailblazer it is literally plug and play!

I have a 2005 Trailblazer LS with the regular power mirrors. I want to change my mirrors to the ones like in this video that have the turn signals on them. Is it just plug'n play using the wire harness that comes with the turn signal mirrors? Or do I have to change the window/door lock switches in the arm rest?

We recommend talking to your dealer to find if they have the wiring to upgrade standard mirrors if that is what you're looking to do.

+slowrook Mirrors should be replaced in an "option for option" fashion. If your mirrors do not have the same options that are listed, there is a possibility that this mirror may not function properly. With this situation, they turn signal will not work and the power operated glass function may not properly work.
