Lol they're not "trapped in the 70s". A while back, it was confirmed that this movie was going to be set in a retro-future during the 1960s, in a different universe from the sacred timeline/earth-616-universe that we've been following in the MCU since 2008. So the Jim Halpert/John Krasinski one that we saw in "Multiverse of Madness," was just a fan-service variant. The different universe setting just made things easier to avoid any potential continuity issues, as well do something different after 3 failed attempts at bringing this team to life. The prediction is that by film's end, this version of the Fantastic Four will somehow arrive in the sacred timeline/earth-616-Universe, allowing them to meet the MCU heroes that we know, ie. the Avengers, and this will lead into the next two "Avengers" movies.
I remember there were heavy rumors, that the Fantastic Four, was trapped in the same Quantum Realm, as Janet Van Dyne. Not sure how legit it was though. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
There's also a Fantastic Four film from 1994. It was never released. It was only made so the studio could keep the film rights. It is free to watch on UA-cam.
I love Galactus when he's done right. He can be really scary but also really goofy. In the Unbelievable Squirrel Girl comics, Squirrel Girl stopped him from eating Earth by literally just talking to him and going "Damn girl you need some protein" and finding him a planet full of acorn trees for him to munch on. And now they're friends.
Well they didn't just decide to go with Pedro. John Krasinski was just a fan casting that Disney thought would be cool to just throw in. He was never the plan to actually go forward with the movies. Just a 1 time cameo
2025 will be the "Super Fantastic 4" summer: between Superman and the 4F all we going to be crazy. Zero rivalries between Marvel-DC, only shaking hands between the fans of both houses. The cinema won, we won with it, and the Devourer of Worlds going to be awesome. "So speaks Galactus".

Can't wait!
It’s set in a 1960s future
It's set in a "retro-future" 1960's, not the future, but a world where they have robots and advanced space travel in the '60s.
@@matthewtopping2061 thats what he meant

I’m very convinced she said exactly that
"Ben has always been a rock." LFG!!
I think it builds on what they thought the future would look like after the 50s. And the silver age

Galactus is like one of the classical 4F enemies... so there is a lot of history where they defeat him
There is a multiverse/wormhole diagram on the chaulkboard as Reed Richards is doing his equations
Jane's singing made it worth it (JV too). This is a great chance for people of all ages to see a real superhero epic!
Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤
There was also a Fantastic Four film produced by Roger Corman in 1994.

I'm skeptical of Marvel at this point, so I won't be the first to the theaters to see if it's any good.
