Hi Petra, we have, as with many other little towns, but did not always have the cameras with us. The little towns, such as Velddrif, are absolutely idyllic.
Geographically, every bit of coastline west of L'agulhas is West Coast! Just as there are five Karoo regions, with mostly anecdotal perceptions in the minds of people, the West Coast is perceived in many different ways. Cape Town boasts an "Atlantic Seaboard" on its west, but every bit of Cape Town, right down to L'agulhas, is Atlantic but therefore also West Coast. Generally, people don't do all too well in geography.
You should also visit towns like Velddrif surrounded by water ! Sea and river!

Actually, it is West Coast already from Agulhas, where the Two Oceans meet.
Thanks for clarifying Denkleier.
