I have to say…I have watched if Anna’s videos. I found her in accident about a year ago and watched. She seemed super snobby and after doing research found that she is neither rich nor did she marry rich. I watched some of her videos for entertainment and saw the Chanel one pop up which was strange to me because she never did videos like that in the past and is not part of the luxury community. I watched it and thought…ok…that’s strange…there are like 100 videos like yours and you brought nothing to the table. It literally felt like a repeat of the call outs you and Romina did and I just left the video feeling unamused. I will say I follow law and crime and well and I think it’s AMAZING how they all support and collab with each other genuinely. I love how you collab with the trusted few and I agree it makes Chanel’s much more fun to watch when we get to see you all support and interact with each other.

I also found her quite snobby !! I've watched other youbtubers who enjoy their luxury goods but they seem to have pleasant personalities. I may never have the money to buy most of these goods but I enjoy other people's youtube videos (like Dacob!) because they are fun to watch :)

I just don't understand why she did that. I hate the fact that the beauty community's toxicity is now creeping into the luxury community as well. This community is actually my favorite along with the contact lenses community.

Coach's leather has always been top notch. I don't know who started the hate train but luckily I'm my own person and could care less what everyone else is doing.
My two cents....... Jessica Fletcher (yes, I KNOW she's a fictional character!) consistently rocked Coach. J.B. Fletcher was definitely an elegant and down to earth person!
There's nothing I respect more than a loyal friend. I kind of always knew or at least I thought I did that the three of you were my kind of people. It warms my heart to see you getting on here defending your friend just like I would. It's hard to know who to trust sometimes actually all the time. But real friends like the three of you are to each other are One in a million.

I really appreciate you breaking this down the way you do here. It really highlights the rather shameless refusal to give credit to the content creators who deserve it. I'm glad Romina brought this to everyone's attention. Also, just have to mention that as a viewer,it is so much more fun when content creators DO collaborate and support each other!! You can see the fun and the joy in it and it makes these collabs delightful to watch (you and Romina and Jessie and Eaumilio's various collabs have been wonderful!) So the people on youtube who want people to believe they are self-sustaining islands seem really delusional, not to mention, self-worshipping and dumb. Y'all keep doing what you're doing, and hopefully this kind of plagaristic behavior will be frowned upon more in the future.

I remembered long ago watching a few videos of some lady teaching about how to be elegant and what’s elegant vs what’s not. Yes, I have noticed some shady fakery going on’s with a number of creators on YT over the past few months. I find it rich when they say, oh how they don’t like drama and point fingers at others. Yet, they are knee deep in shenanigans and not so behind the scenes bullying.
The worst offenders have massive egos and tend to reveal their messy selves in the comments of other creator channels. The comments do divulge tell a lot of between the lines Information.

Since I actually live the life Anna pretends to give advice on, had to call her out several times for mistakes and just bad advice. When she knew nothing about Polo and was completely rejected in Mykonos, it was clear that she still has roots in her working class, street girl past. Don’t think the upper class doesn’t know it’s own. It takes more than hair dye and make up to fashion a lady. There is such a thing as trying too hard and putting on airs, both are dead giveaways. I’m in favor of people improving their stations but one must have substance beneath the style or at least a bank account with multiple zeros.

I don’t think anyone is nice on UA-cam! Is that just me?! I watch you for your contribution to debate and perspective and your understanding of fashion history. I think some of the ‘sweetest’ presenting content creators are awful people in real life. I don’t watch them but honestly I don’t assume anything about the moral substance of anyone in this realm. It’s either interesting and informative or I don’t bother but I never assume anyone I watch is genuine or ‘nice’ or likeable other than on screen. Sad I know but pragmatic hey 😟

Hi Dacob! super great video! I have to say that Romina is so sweet and when I email her, I always hear back. And she introduced me to you! Also Jessie as well. I had never heard of Anna before but after watching just 1 video, I became indirectly offended by her and what she has to say. In other words, only Jackie O, and Sharon Tate could carry CHANEL, but not Kim Kardashian? Snob alert! LOL! I also notice that on Sunday morning, my Smart TV, shows me all the London youtube fashion ladies and I can clearly see competition. Won't mention any names and those guys that walk the cemeteries? LOL They are all on at the same time. I just know who I like by the vibes I get and I'm usually a good judge of character. You guys are great so keep doing what you are doing! Love!
There should be guidelines on how to properly cite another creator's content on UA-cam that are regulated. I wish we could tag creators with less than a 1000 subscribers (because if anything, they would benefit the greatest from being tagged).

Lovely video Dacob! Anna's video was a bit weird in my opinion. She kinda bashed the classic flap, ended the video with a; well, yeah I have a classic flap too. I just don't know what she wants to tell people with her video.
The classic flap is a wonderful heritage bag even though and just in my opinion, current leather at chanel is allegedly subpar. I am not a fan of their pricing politics either but even though maybe many people own a classic flap, that would still not make me love it any less 🥰💖 No elitism needed. When a product is good then its good regardless of how many people own it or not 🙏🏻💖🥰🥂

I unfollowed Anna long time ago. I was sent to an etiquette school while growing up by my parents, I do not understand how this woman has this type of channel and I am even more surprised to see her number of followers. Tbh, doesn’t surprise me her “classy professionalism” 😉I am curious to see if she would apologize to Romina!
Who knows… one time a few years back when she made that terrible video where many viewers got offended at how she spoke about judgement towards people with less money or owning less prestige items of a certain kind, she instead of apologizing, took the video down and did some lame damage control instead of owning up on what she said. That was the moment she got on my radar since many of my subscribers told me about this incident.

I watch Ana bay channel sadly , Ana bay never strike me as a kinda and honest persona. She appears to be a business women who will do anything to climb to the top.
I've found it interesting to watch how you and Romina have been dealing with the fake friends issue as friends of mine have also been discovering a fake friend in our midst at the same time. Of course there is more to this than meets the eye and I respect that you cannot name names aside from this Bey woman. I am curious though, simply out of the desire to compare notes. Comparing notes can be very empowering and illuminating, sorting the wheat from the chaff. Perhaps it's a case of friendships made during the pandemic are now coming to their natural conclusion. Some are proving solid while others are like quicksand, sucking people down and away from their values, and others simply fly away squawking.
I did once watch Anna Bey very late one lonely lockdown night. As one person commented on Romina's video, she is giving Russian gold-digger classes. A pick up artist for women with no other hope to improve their lives other than marrying a rich narcissist. It is rather sad that such a person can be even moderately successful in this day and age, but unfortunately that is life. The world is full of people like this.

That just disgusts me and shows someone (lack of) class to attack people who are smaller than you. I often think it’s jealousy. Not number wise, but when a bigger channel sees a smaller one striving, the person being happy and the fans being authentically loyal it’s everything they are not. Obviously that’s not the way to go about it.

Anna used one of my photos from my fashion blog a while back, in one of her videos, where she was criticising certain looks, and criticised mine. She didn't give me a single credit, not even a link. I left a comment on her video and was ignored. It was actually distasteful of her to use my photo for what she considers a bad outfit, and give zero recognition. Funny thing is, I used to really like her videos, but I just don't anymore. Thank you for keeping it real and 100!

@@SuperDacob Yes they've each thanked me for my insights and I value Jessie for her sincerity and interest in design and authenticity in the deeper sense. And I cottoned onto rominarosemay as having a vulnerability and sincerity also, which is touching. I hope to have helped each of them gain confidence in their personal style.
I've also revisited that antipodean incident of quite a few moons back. It was hard to figure out what had gone wrong there, not having been among those present but I assumed that alcohol was an operative part. (Denied.)
But also there is a likely Australian harshness/disregard for feelings.
I parked it in the too-hard basket, assumed you'd got it wrong in the live feed by not having it out privately.

I have to say I took their side on the live feed thing although it was confusing.
Then recently found myself (implicitly) derided as having 'povo' bags. Well I do value vintage and like to refresh and renovate to me it's creative. I just cannot justify massive prices for the new which doesn't excite me precisely for the ennui you've been experiencing, because if you have a bit of savour-faire about design and history you can see what's derivative and what is not, and the derivative spiral is getting tighter and tighter. And the quality cycle is spiralling down. The povo comment was ostensibly not expressly directed towards me but implicitly it is because it's all about money. Despite some careful back-tracking I have to say those parties are lacking. They value my wit but the well of goodwill wit is running dry. I'm a fan of Vivienne W, too. That woman had insight and flair and wasn't afraid to revisit and revise her views, as a true artist does.
All I'm saying.
