That looks AMAZING! 😋
Thank you 😋
you are such a great teacher Ali, it’s all those little explanations of what and why that make a difference to me as all that does not come naturally to me, but I am trainable🤣so I really appreciate your content and your teaching talents, not to mention your cooking!
Funny thing is I got my teaching degree and hated teaching 😂
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa Oh that is funny! I guess you can take the teacher of the teaching but you can’t take the teacher out of the teacher lol. I’m so glad you turned it into a wonderful UA-cam channel! Hope you’re having a great night❤️
That looks so gooood you guys. I have an awesome homemade I talian sausage recipe. Thanks for everything. The old hippie....❤❤
I need your sausage recipe! Our 2025 goal is to learn to make our own.

Looks delicious!! Now I'm starving!! (Stahhvin) I was born and raised in Boston until my late teens... so no "R" s. Lol

Oh looks good. Thanks
Looks delicious
Looks so delicious!!
Y’all are so cute!
Ok, for recipe requests: Let’s begin with Eggplant Parmesan - spelling doesn’t count! Yummy. Nice lookin noonoos, as my DGGS would say. We have a Claros in Tustin, 51 minutes North of us up I-5 (traffic dependent. lol). Thanks for the recommendation. Well give it a visit. You two are a hoot!
Noted! If you haven’t been to claros you must! I haven’t been to that location, but they are all the same. The one in Arcadia is huge and the one I grew up going to. They make amazing sandwiches if you go at lunch. Thank you!
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa Arcadia! Small world. We were practically neighbors - but a few decades apart. Lol. Pasadena and Alhambra was our area. Moved way south in 1947.
I grew up in Monrovia. Most of our family is still in the area. My grandpa was in San Clemente so we were down south often. We loved eating on the pier.

Hope you enjoy and thank you!
You two are great together. You are friends and you have fun cooking together. You are blessed to have a husband who builds. This was fun to watch. And the Alfredo looks awesome!!!
Well it's January so hopefully happy anniversary to you both 🎉💗🎉💗🎉
Thank you! I was a few days ago.
Totally stalking your recipes. LOL! We did the Alfredo Sauce for dinner last night but added Baked Zuccini. Your Alfredo sauce variation is ON POINT!!! It was absolutely delicious! You really need a cookbook. I’d get it in a skinny second. Not sure if you like zucchini but if so, this is yummy and pairs perfectly with your Alfredo!
Baked Zucchini -
2 Med Zucchini cut into 1/2 inch rounds
1 Tbsp Olive oil
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (this will be divided between 2 steps)
Sprinkle zucchini rounds with salt and pepper to preferred taste/amount , adding the olive oil, Italian seasoning, and 2 Tablespoons (from the 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan) and toss.
Line them side by side on parchment paper on a baking sheet, sprinkle the remaining 1/3 cup of Parmesan on the top ,and stick in 425 degree oven, keep rack about 6 inches from the top. Bake 5 minutes. Keep them in oven and switch from bake to Broil for another 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown. So easy and again pairs perfectly with this Alfredo. So excited to keep trying your recipes! ❤
That sound amazing! I’m a big zucchini fan.

Sorry, Ali, I'm in California, and I just reached for Claro's. There is one 20 minutes away. I will definitely check them out. Thank you!
Best Italian sausage and their deli meat and cheese are great.
Give that pup back his squeaky toy!! Lol
He’s a handful for sure
I can’t make this…I’d eat the whole thing!
Right?!?!
Can you dehydrate or freeze the sauce, or both together?
Freeze it once it is built into a lasagna but before you bake it .

Have you ever heard of a salad called chop chop?
I haven’t. What is it?
Lol So I totally messed up the pasta. I hate Alfredo, but for some reason I tried your recipe, OMG apparently I just hate store bought Alfredo!! I made Shrimp Alfredo using regular spaghetti's noodles it was off the chain. The shrimp I pan fried in real butter with a good sprinkle of garlic powder, onion powder, paprika( A lot), a dash of pepper and a dash of salt, that was good by itself! I did add a little more heavy cream and a little water, my sauce was really thick and stringy, that did just fine. The homemade pasta was too wet, which I thought it was. I got this electric pasta maker its a hand held one. It was awful, it seemed to be doing fine, but when cutting it off ALL the pasta stuck together. I had to use plain flour , that's all I had. I know it wasn't that , I just don't understand that type of machine. I have a pasta maker just like y'all's and a lot of attachments, but the mount thingys are broke and I gotten some clamps which worked really good and 1 broke and I keep forgetting to get one. I think I could have still maybe used it, but its been sitting for awhile and needed to be cleaned up a little. I was frustrated cause I could get that machine to work, lol I added a little flour hear and there. You are suppose to aim into the pot of boiling water and cut the pasta of and let it fall in the water. FAIL. It could have been the machine, I think I could have made the dough work on my hand cranked pasta machine. I love old gadgets!! They are the best! I love that dish so much, I had for dinner last night and snack later on and I am going to eat right now for my dinner tonight! Jim also loved it! :) Have a great day!
Goodness, that was a cooking adventure. I’m so glad it was good. Store Alfredo is gross once you make your own.
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa lol It was gross before I even had homemade. I am so glad I tried yours, I had a backup plan if I didn't like like. I was just gonna make me some Pharm noodles. Glad I didn't have too! Hope all of you are safe from this crazy storm that went through. I am in Central Al , we got a little rain and some wind from it but nothing major in our area that I know of. Prayers for the hurricane Helene victims!
