    I hear it from people when I watch sports games. I hear it when I turn on the news. I hear it all the time from people addressing crowds at functions.... and it's odd. It only excites me when I hear it from one man. Two words. One man alone. Makes my heart race. ... HELLO EVERYONE!

    Bobby declining the hair stuff commercial actually made me appreciate him more after all that nonsense he did... I mean, the true reason might have been "I don't want to be filmed", but the reason he said is so good, I wish everybody did that. "I never used it, so why would I advertise it?!" That is a word of principle.

      Panda4247 I'm not sure Fischer declined millions of dollars. In the book Fischer Spassky 1992 by author Yasser seirawan Fischer is asked if I remember correctly was Fischer offered millions of dollars and Fischer said no. The question was asked by another journalist. This book can very expensive. Sometimes Amazon has it for around 50 dollars. It's usually 100 dollars or more.

    I analyzed this game via the lichess engine and it seems that after Fischer made the inaccuracy on the 36th move which was Rd5 and Spassky replied with an amazing Re4, Fischer still has a -1.0 advantage which could have turned in to a win especially for someone like Fischer. I bet Fischer was so tired at that time that he gave up on the position or didn't give it enough thought since he could have gone with a Qc5 and keep the pressure

    Why do you have periods instead of commas?

      In most European countries (other than the UK countries) they use periods instead of commas while representing numbers

    This is a draw for applause.
    The best all the time and agreed with the engine that was the Knight who could accomplished a secured won for Fischer almost at the end with thy Queen.
    Excellent, even Bobby was line you said for the human. (9 to 6 and a draw just put more pressure to Spassky the last games almost gone.

      What exactly is the engine? Is it a computer program made by someone?

    On the million, after the 1 comes a comma and then pennies after the dot. You put two dots making it look like one thousand instead of million.

    12:49 surely white must play queen to b4 in this position to force a queen trade and avoid mate?

    • @aohbmaeid
      @aohbmaeid 6 років тому

      Black rook can go to b7 and pin the queen, things could get nasty for white after that.

    There is an episode of Colombo where a paranoid "Fischer" American chess master kills an eastern European chess master because he felt he would lose. It's a good episode and I bet they made it after this crazy world chess championship.
