- My reaction to Lee Mack on Would I Lie To You claiming he has started baking. He backs his claim by bringing a cake for David Mitchell. Is he lying? ENJOY!!!

Lee Mack is good because, not only does he do every episode, he is also extremely quick witted, but you’ll see in a Lee Mack WILTY compilation some of the lies he has to tell are unbelievable to fake
The lady on David's team (Nadiya) is a very well known cook who has various cookery programmes on TV.
Lee was on celebrity bake off
@@booradley8895 Thanks for that. Can't say I follow any cookery programmes. I just remember that Nadiya won a cake competition for HM Queen and have seen her name in the TV listings.
Nadiya won The Great British Bake Off in 2015 & baked a cake for The Queens 90th birthday…Yes Lee was in Celebrity Bake Off..in 2018..
David Mitchell's sitcom Peep Show is excellent.
Lee’s Wok around the clock is one of the funniest pieces of tv I have seen. Laughed like a hyena
You do genuinely add to the experience...its like watching tv with a friend rather than watching alone ... I watched the whole of Idiot Abroad with Frankensteins Lab, and it was way way way more fun than watching alone ... You actually genuinely provide a service unavailable elsewhere ... i think this is the essence of reaction vids ... I'm sure I'm missing something .. but genuinely like a warm demeanor, and you have it ... plus I miss my cat ;)
Same here, I know exactly what you mean haha
@@WhiteViper1992 heheh ...love to you! :)
Lee Mack on the Great British Bake off is HILARIOUS
Nadiya, who is the woman on David's team, won the "Great British Bake-Off" a few years ago. (In the States, I think you can see it on PBS.)
Lee has a Guinness world record for darts. He definitely likes to try new things. So it would be easy to think he could bake
Lee Mack's sitcom Not Going Out is good for the first seven series.
You need to watch the episode about Lee's Chinese cookery book😂
You should consider watching Lee mack compilation on would I lie to you
Lee Mack, another comedy genius. He's perfect for this show. Great reaction 😆🇬🇧🇺🇸
Lee Mack went on Bake Off, he was hilarious.
You should watch either the Lee Mack and his Keys video (or the Mackiavelian Superpowers - Lee Mack on Would I Lie to You video (it also has the keys story in it). You will love it ;)
When it's David or Lee reading a card it's normally a lie. This is, of course, because there's a limited number of humorous truths in their lives and they're on every episode. It's tricky for the makers of the show.
You should definitely check out David Mitchell’s radio show “The Unbelievable Truth” !
First episode of Would I Lie To You first aired 16th June 2007.
Saved me a google 👌🏼😂
Would i lie to you , first aired here in uk 🇬🇧 2007 🇬🇧👍🇬🇧👍🇬🇧
First episode of WILTY was broadcast in June 2007
I think it started around 2007 or something like that. It's season 15 this year.
"Friday night dinner" would be a great british show for you, the guy from " Inbetweeners" who you like stars in it :) Great show you have mate, keep it up :) ps/ you and your good wife make a great couple.
Lee is given the most ridiculous stories because of his ability to sell them. He probably has more lies than truths on the show.
I imagine if the US made it, they'd go after the stars rather than the standups/actors sort of guest you get on the British show
It was first broadcast on 16 June 2007.
The second he said for the bottom part, I thought he was lying! you generally make a sponge and cut it in half.
Another great reaction KB , I thoroughly enjoy your channel , keep it going .🇬🇧
The Mitchell and Webb look is a pretty good show 👌
The All Brit Channel has got loads of good WILTY on there
Hey man you have to react to Lee Mack's Wok around the clock on Would I Lie To You. His best bit in my opinion, absolutely hilarious.
How did you and the queen meet, if you don't mind ne asking?
Check out lee macks keys that's a good would I lie to you moment. 😀
I didn't remember that one but I listened to Lee Mack being interviewed on a podcast a while ago and he's been getting more interested in health and fitness in recent years, so I figured cake baking didn't go along with that!
QB should watch "The Great British Bake-Off" ...
WILTY first started in 2007 and currently has 15 seasons for you to catch up on.
(and btw check out Steve Hughes and if you've never seen it The Young Ones from the 1980s)
As someone born in 1970 I always see The Young Ones as a major turning point in UK television comedy, when what was coined as alternative comedy started becoming more accepted within the mainstream.
If Lee Mack watched a UA-cam video on how to bake a cake he would probably watched "how to basic" & don't get me started on what that looks like
2:26 The squeak is back (but this time it's travelled through from the dark side of 'Event Horizon' !!!!)
My favourite comedian
I can't not let people tell me what to do without doing what you told me to do now :(
Lee mack stars in a sitcom called not going out ,there quit funny lol love the channel boom time lol
It started in 2007 but Rob Brydon didn’t start presenting until 2009.
The programme was based on a BBC Radio 4 show called "The Incredible Truth", hosted by David Mitchell. They changed it a lot for TV, but the original programme is worth listening to (no copyright problems with BBC radio either). No visuals, so probably not good for a reaction, but worth exploring just to hear David Mitchell go off on one regularly.
They have some similarities but one isn’t based on the other, they started at almost exactly the same time (about a month apart). Still, Unbelievable Truth is well worth a listen
Check out Would I lie to you with German comic Henning Wehn. Welsh comedian Rhod Gilbert. Greg Davies (the teacher off Inbetweeners).
Nadiya, sitting next to David, won The Great British Bake Off. So she knows a thing or two… 😉
Mr Boomer, if you see this when do you do your live streams, is it a regular basis or just random, if there's a schedule I can keep up, love you work big man London crew respect brother
Lee Mack is hilarious you definitely should watch his stand up.
You should watch kevin bridges on would i lie to you , one of the funniest
The show began in 2007
Queen Boomer would know right off the BATTER! 🤣 I'll see myself out
There is only ONE to watch "Lee Mack Royal Wedding"
June 2007
Would I Lie to You has a US version now but it looks nothing like the original
Hey King Yank. Only discovered you recently. Loved watching you and Queen Yank reacting to Inbetweeners. No fucking idea how I found you. Crazy Yanks
✨Another programme to watch is The Peep Show✨
David had the Great British bake off ( don't ask) winner on his team . WILTY has at least 15 series , they are all good , although the first two were slightly different and there are so many good stories . There is an American version , they are trying hard but there is something not quite right yet from watching some clips on u tube .
Hardly any of Lee Mack's stories are true, they make them up because he's done so many episodes, it's impossible to keep coming up with true ones. He's very good at adjusting his story according to the responses. comedy gold
The only problem with this show now is Lee and David are really good friends...so that's it though. I still love it :D
The thing which I don't get about Lee Mack is that everyone in France thinks he's a computer 🤔
you should really check out a rhod gilbert compilation on would I lie to you!
WILTY had won several BAFTA's
Just to add nardia the woman on the show won great British bake off
Would I Lie to You originally aired in 2007 with a different host, Angus Deayton, for the first two series. Oddly enough when Deayton was replaced with Rob Brydon and the show was moved to an earlier more family friendly timeslot, it got much better. Which is strange, because normally shows that are placed after the uncensored 9pm slot are generally better. But I don't think swearing and edgy humour worked for this show for some reason.
I thought 10pm was the watershed hour? May well be wrong but agree strongly that Brydon was the transformation of the show
Edit: I think the format doesn’t need swearing to be funny, because it plays on the absurdity of the lies or truths which are nuggets of gold in and of themselves
@@Guevara1015 In the UK the Watershed is between 9pm and 5:30am
you should search 8 out of 10 cats does countdown full episode , and have a go watching a full episode so you can see what its about
YOU SHOULD WATCH JAMES ACASTERS FUNNIEST MOMENTS
There is a US version of Would I Lie To You, actually...
here is a WILTY , "who is MICK to you",
Mick - James Acaster’s archenemy? Lee Mack’s traded toddler? Gabby Logan’s cheated child? | WILTY

if you search for it, the results show spoilers.
WILTY was my favourite British game show for a long time. Then Taskmaster came out. Think you'll get a kick out of Taskmaster
David Mitchell is a very bright guy. Yet somehow the cake of him looks more intelligent.
You should check out Shooting Stars, it's Bob Mortimer (so obviously hilarious) and Vic Reeves who is just as funny. It's a bizarre show but it's absolutely golden if you just embrace the insanity.
I love Shooting Stars, definitely one of the greatest shows of all time, so unique, only Vic and Bob could make that work.
@@markjones127 I totally agree, their combination of personalities makes it, it's absolutely ridiculous but probably my favourite gameshow/panel show of all time
There's a series of new compilations out, of the intros to 8 out of 10 cats does countdown by Jimmy Carr on one guest. Here's Sean Lock's' collection: ua-cam.com/video/RDYbSRxraE0/v-deo.html
Not the biggest fan of Lee but he is incredibly quick witted. With WILTY, 9/10 will be a lie with him and he makes pretty much zero attempt to make it sound real.
When he is telling the truth he puts so much effort in to make it sound like a lie, that you end up getting caught out.
I think my fave with him though is when he tells the story about making his daughter cry with a song.
Can you please react to. The universe is way bigger than you think. Its a great video I think you'd like it and it's a bit different. Watch all your videos 🙌
I knew a pasty chef but it turned out to be anaemia.
My favourite WILTY are the one's with the German comedian, Henning Wehn....This for a compilation video ua-cam.com/video/5h1wnTMIIPA/v-deo.html. Also, episodes featuring the blind comedian, Chris McCausland.
I would be curious to see what you make of the Have I got news for you.
Here is the latest 8OO10CDC: ua-cam.com/video/isyYDxxXMjk/v-deo.html&ab_channel=ozmartian It was fun - thou I feel that Jon is missing Sean... (Me to - I miss SEAN!)
2007 it started
there is a us version of wilty
And it's shit.
I have seen it and although you would expect it to be shit it was
Love the channel and content, but the more I watch the more you seem to be morphing into a Young Columbo 👍🏻
VPN (Set to UK) > All 4 > Job done
regarding the technical cake knowledge, the one asking all the tecnical questions was the winner of the great biritsh bakeoff that year, so she is not completly clueless either ...it was BRITISH bakeoff though...and the brits arnt exactly known for theire cuisine....
Well to be fair much of the UK's poor reputation came from GI's stationed here during WWII when there was very strict rationing, so the cuisine they encountered wasn't your standard UK cuisine, but to this day many people still go off that.
@@markjones127 judging from my holiday in weston supermare the reputation is at least 80% deserved though :P but that was a while ago maybe things got better.
@@JohnDoe-xz1mw The British may or may not be known for their (our) cooking (although that bad reputation is no longer deserved) but we are known for our baking, always have been. We are good at cakes and puddings (desserts) - there's a reason why Bake Off is a British show. And to be honest, there's one thing Americans can't do, it's cake.
@@carolineb3527 im austrian and im not impressed :P but i guess things must be getting alot better sinc ei was in britain, because back then everybody was like, yeah we know food isnt our thing, now im getting alot of not true, so things definitly have improved, or at least people now care :P other than the food britain was amzing btw, definitly recommend the tripp, just ....the food is definitly not for me.
@@carolineb3527 i think i missunderstood, if the benchmark is american food then absolutly british food is better, any food is better than american food, in britain, i didnt like the food, in the us i was starving the whole 3 weeks.
Everything Lee Mack does is money in the bank.
There is an American version of Would I Lie To You and Yes, not as funny. They seem cut a lot out and it's too short. The show lasts 20 minutes. They don't carry the same punch lines or drama to their stories as with the British humor.
Hello Queen Boomer =)
Do it a second time with her! What's the problem with that? 🤷🏻♂️
Then your viewers will be watching you doing a reaction to her reaction.
Still a lie, but a lot more plausible than some things he says.
