I know what you mean about those sponge rollers…they changed the plastic on it. When I do my dry roller set I use mousse and spray a few squirts of mizani oil with the mousse. I also use it lightly so it’s dry in the morning. I actually did a tiny tweak from watching one of your previous videos. Love your content. Have you tried the satin covered flexirods. Not the ones with the clip on the ends. They are great too.

Heyyy MeShar! I like that tip about using a teeny bit of oil. You KNOW I’m to try that.
You just blew my mind!! Satin-lined flexi rods??? Oh my gosh, now I’m on the hunt for them. THANK you for telling me about them. Whoop 🙌🏾 whoop! Beauty supply store here I come! 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️

@@NaturallyCorporateI found the satin covered flexirods on Amazon. They have two kinds ones with a clip on the end and ones without clip on the ends. I’m also old school so I pump about 8 pumps of mousse on my vanity and about 3-4 squirts of the mizani oil. My hair is longer than in my photo and my hair isn’t too damp just a hint. Then I finger comb my curls and maybe use a nickel size of chi or bio silk ❤

@mesharhall8086 Awesome, awesome tips! Friend, I’m old school, too. That’s why we connect so well. ✨Heading to Amazon now. Thanks again!

You have the ones WITHOUT the clip, right?

@@NaturallyCorporate I have both. The ones with the clip stay loose and won’t tighten like the other ones. But maybe for content get both to see the type of curls you get. I love both 🥰

Hey friend! It was not "an absolute fail." (your words). I thought it came out really nice. I liked the middle part on you, but the side part looked great, too! The back looked fine as well. You look very pretty in this video and I could tell that your hair was very soft. Thanks for sharing with us💛

Oh thank you! You’re right - my hair was very soft. I worked it for another day but then it was time for a high puff. 😊

I agree with you Regina. the satin, black rollers are the perfect upgrade for sponge rollers. Now they just need to update the clip system. they have always been terrible with the clipping system after a few uses. they are perfect for dry sets.
You worked hard for your curls, but they look so pretty!!!!! I love your top!

Hi friend, and thank you!! I’m on the hunt for some sturdy ones b/c I love the curls they create. Happy to see you. ✨

That is cool that they have the satin cover on those sponge rollers now. I think your results look great, I like the side part and the back looks good too. My mother use to roll my sister and I hair with those pink sponge rollers to give us shirley temple curls on Easter. That dark green looks nice on you. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks so much! Same - I used to put 2 pink sponge rollers in the front to make a bang before I was old enough to get a real bang cut.

This is pretty. If your hair isn’t full in the back, I would suggest using a few clip in extensions for thickness. They’re perfect for that.

Hi, and thanks for that suggestion. I’ve used clip-ins all over once but never just for the back. I appreciate you!

On camera, it looks nice and like you’ve had the roller set for a few days vs a fresh set. Will keep an eye out for an update if you find better rollers because I was excited to try the satin ones until your review 😂

    hi regina 🤗
i have these products and maybe a deep conditioner and something else from the same line. i haven't used any of them yet.
i did read the description box after listening to the first half of the video. i believe you mentioned that you shampooed 3 times total - twice in the shower then once for the demo for us. did you feel the squeaky clean even after the first shampoo?
im glad the conditioner brought the moisture back but i will probably follow with a deep conditioner. tfs

Your curls look nice front and back, but the roots need a little more curl. Foam rollers usually don'd curl hair close to the scalp.
