great tips man thanks. i have a question about the aluminum tie rod. is the end tapered or will i have to drill out my reid racing knuckle to fit? p.s. i do not want to drill my knuckles lol. i have a 2011 jku rubicon and really want to use the steersmarts aluminum tie rod i just don't want to drill the hole out on my knuckle.
I just installed my tie rod and drag link today and kinda wished I would have watched this first. I think the greasing of the boots is key, and of course I didn't do it. Speaking of grease, do I need to grease them after they are installed? If so, how much grease do I need to put in them?
Putting grease in the joints is a good thing. Put 5-6 pumps in each joint. Just make sure that the boot seal starts to fill up. You can't overfill as they are self purge boot seals and will purge excess grease.
Great video. Just installed all of the front products and was having issues with clearance.
Thanks for the video. I'm about to install a Yeti HD on my JKU!. This is replacing a Rock Kralwer that is binding with the inside of my new rims.
I just ordered the tie rod for my 17 jk to replace the stocker
Great video!

@@SteerSmarts Tip #6 - Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right for easy access to the drag link grease port on the knuckle.
@@SteerSmarts Do you guys have a preferred grease to use? Thanks.
