Like with any mic, depending on the pre and EQ, a U47fet can actually sound amazing on vocals. Plug this into a 1073 and dial up the glitter as necessary. It takes EQ quite well.

Hey Daniel, like the name. I wonder why 🤔…. I can’t quite pinpoint the sound, it’s clean with a bit of highs roll-off saturation. I do however, like the compressor! Though I wish the knobs were stepped. EQ is cool but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, great channel strip but I don’t think I would’ve been impressed had I spent $4K when new. What are your thoughts?
