That trip back to WV is a long one that's for sure. Looking into going to Saskatchewan hopefully within the next 5 years, saving my pennies to make it happen. From NC to Saskatchewan is only 36 hours, not too bad but it's worth it to lay my eyes on some real giants
We hunt Saskatchewan every year we can. We had a great hunt again this past November. We stay in Cochin with Lost Horse Creek Outfitters when we are there
I personally live in Hurricane, but I grew up in Cabin Creek. Thanks for the support man. We’ve been on national TV for years, but pretty new to UA-cam. Trying to grow digitally as so many people are going away from TV. You can view a lot of our stuff on Carbon TV as well. We are just a bunch everyday guys filming our hunts. Spread the word. Thanks again for the support
At 4:04 your safety harness is attached when your doing your opening interview. Its not until 8:59 (after you shoot the buck) that I noticed your harness line is over your shoulder instead of connected. So it happened sometime between then unless your opening interview or post interview were taped some other time and edited in later.
I dropped my phone at one point while I was in the stand. I climbed down to get while no deer were around and climbed right back in the stand. Only thing I can think is I didn’t hook it back in. Everything that was filmed was real time, so either I didn’t hook it in or it was hooked correctly and came undone 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you. I had already taken 3 really nice bucks that season in WV and KY. I told myself I was going to be very picky for a few days in Saskatchewan, but after seeing that buck the day before, I was gonna hold out for him until the last day. Luckily the stand move paid off and he showed up on day 2
It is called a Close Grip Bow Handle. First time I picked up a bow that had one on it, I got one for myself soon after. Other than a sling or a pack, it’s the most comfortable way to carry a bow. It has built it threads where you can add an additional stabilizer if needed. I’ve never seen on in a store, I ordered mine online.
Was just curious how you are hunting the rut in camo and not in orange as i live in sask and rut is in November that's rifle time so even if your bow hunting supposed to be wearing all orange
Sorry guys. I was excited and I like to talk a lot. Always those guys that have something negative to say. I can take it though. Doesn’t bother me at all
Funny how you only show the buck’s right side trying to make it look even bigger than it is. The left antler is clearly smaller. Respect the deer and show the whole rack. Sure it’s a huge buck but I like to see hunters slowly show the whole rack. Left, center and right side. Also please lose the music. I like to hear the natural sounds as if I were there too. Try not to make it look like such a sensationalized production. Looks like you may have on eyeliner/mascara. If you do lose it also. Just my opinion but I am less likely to watch videos like yours in the future.
Meateater, Heartland Bowhunter, Donnie Vincent, Whitetail Adrenaline... all have music. So the millions of people that consume those videos hate music?
Well I’m not from Saskatchewan, but that’s the only way we’ve seen anyone bow hunt up there unless it’s hunting agriculture during the early season. Regardless I had a blast and smoked a giant. Thank you for expressing your opinion
So hunting over a corn field cut down for the purpose of feed for deer, food plots, and water holes man made or not are also considered not fair chase? If no, explain to me why it's not.
@@christinemiller1872 you are miss reading what I'm saying. I responded to someone not happy about baiting, and arguing for the guy you seem to think I'm not happy for.
Congratulations super buck of a lifetime
Thank you. I was pumped. We’ve taken some dandy bucks up there
Awesome buck! 1 in a million deer. Congratulations 👏
Thank you

Congrats on a fine buck.
Thank you
I thought in Canada it’s required that you go through an outfitter if you’re not from there.
Saskatchewan is the land of the giant whitetails!
Yes it is
Big bears as well
Great buck, absolute stud.
Great buck KD!
Congratulations Young Man !!!
Thank you
Great hunt Bro. I'm a WV boy myself. Where ya from? Love your channel! 😎

I commend your patience and filming on a fantastic buck, I have shot a lot of bucks but no wall hangers here in Vermont

What is that piece in front of your grip on your bow and where did it come from?

Amazing deer congratulations! Love the emotion dude.
That was insane!
It sure was. Biggest Buck of my life

I see this all the time on hunting shows guys hunting Saskatchewan just doing their own thing the orange doesn't go good with their advertising
The outfitter is a a First Nation's Outfitter operating on reservation land, so blaze orange isn't required.

How could you not tell those two deer apart? There's easily 40+ inches on the one you shot versus that 4x4 you about shot.
Yea obviously one wasn't nearly as big as the other, but I just saw a tall chocolate rack and was focused on the small LCD screen on the camera.
Nice job putting all the bait in the right spot around your stand.
Yeah it worked out perfect
Baiting is legal in Saskatchewan & used as a common practice for a more ethical shot. If you wish to stalk your prey with bow & arrow...best of luck.
Great buck! Nice camera work! Self filming sucks for sure!!!
Thanks
What color was his rack? I didn’t catch it the first 5 times. A walking talking hunting cliche machine this guy.
Haha..that's what I thought too. I could've closed my eyes and swore Bill Jordan or Waddell were cackling. Good grief.

Congrats on the buck dude.

So many haters in the comments is hilarious ! Clowns
Can’t hurt my feelings after shooting a buck like that
