Great video! Would've been awesome if there was either clips of him rigging each bait in the wild, or a demo setup in shop that he could use to rig each one.
Nice selection of yaks. I love love my old town pdl. Game changer.. also, wtf how beautiful is the scenery !!!? Nice vids beautiful surroundings. Good on ya Mr steal yer whatever I don't remember it all
Givin' y'all a "Wicked arwesome, kehd" from Boston. Your baits and tackle are like fishing with dynamite up here. There is absolutely no bass pressure. These fish are mine with the loadout I'm getting from you guys.
The products of this small Japanese lure manufacturer are of truly great quality. The only thing that bothers me is that it is difficult to import. DRT lures are especially popular and difficult to obtain.
That first one at 5:00 is pretty much the same as our wacky bug. But we're bee to the US and unknown so naturally we'll be called the knockoff even thigh we have our own factory that OEMs for big brands😂
Yeah man 8-12lb line typically to make the bait look best as it's falling separate from the weight & a spinning reel feeds line with the least resistance.
It can be a collecting hobby in addition to a functional hobby. People collect all kinds of stuff. For some reason the fishing community gets really complainy if someone just likes having cool stuff. For the record I fully acknowledge I don't catch more fish on megabass or high end Shimano gear than anything else. But boy I have fun with it and that's all that matters.
@@txg1275 I have fun with fishing and tackle as well because it is a hobby and meant to be fun so I agree. The problem I have is there are limits and this mindset is causing companies to continue to raise prices and how far is it going to go? I never thought it will be normal to pay $1.50 or more per plastic and all the other outrageous prices on fishing products that keep climbing.
Watching the beginning of the video shows this guy can catch fish, he’s not just a bait collector and young guys aren’t the only ones who get caught up in bait hype, that’s been going on for decades. More people are involved in bass fishing than ever before and these young guys are excellent fisherman. I’ve been bass fishing since the late 70’s and here I am learning a lot from these kids. I’ve always been a power fisherman but I’m starting to embrace the finesse side of the sport; this channel especially has been a great source of information and it features young guys who know their stuff for sure. I love trying out the newest baits, you never know when a “gimmick” bait could end up being a staple in your arsenal.
Luis is fabulous - more Luis on this channel pls!
luis has such a great cadence and motion in his expression. he's the man and we need to see more of the man.

4:55 this is exactly how I feel. Anything slender might as well be a texas rig lol. Ribs and appendages are what make proper free rig baits.
Yup, just a couple exceptions:
Huge worms
Neutral buoyant/floating baits
That egu chunk looks amazing
Everytime i add something to my cart, you guys put out a video on it! The 2 way is like 4th time its happened! I feel special 😂
Awesome stuff Luis that's a dope t shirt wish ben could put some different companies t shirts on the website would love to get some to represent 👊🏼🎣
Great free rig baits. Thanks for sharing. Had no idea about the BottomUp Gimmy.

2 questions. #1 do you recommend a budget rod maybe in the levante line? #2 do you use a bead?
Thx
When will you be getting many of these baits back in stock

Just bought all 3 of the baits with 4th of July saving sale. Can’t wait to try them and followed Luis on insta
Luis, is the free rig mainly a light line spinning technique for you?
Free rig can be heavy or light, depending on the size you can fish it on spinning or casting

Hell yeah!!
What kayaks are you using?
Feelfree lure 11 & Old Town autopilot 120
@@Luiscm22 I want to get into kayak fishing do you have any recommendations for a first kayak?
I wonder if anyone uses heavy gear a big baits for free rig
Only this guy knows how to bend rod , not pushing with tumb to show action
Not first
Are Jeff’s moans timed on purpose or just coincidental?
I stop watching bc he mutters mmmmm every 15 seconds.
makes it hard to watch at times
Fishing is a business and this young generation of fisherman fall for all the stuff that’s designed to catch fisherman.
It can be a collecting hobby in addition to a functional hobby.

You're just old and bitter about other people having fun. Pathetic!
