Meanwhile the only thing I know about Giddey is from that graphic that said his weakness was basically basketball. When we drafted him I thought "what are doing?" and now two years later it looks like Presti knew exactly what he was doing.

Great player, Giddey would improve any team he is on due to his passing and IQ. Pity too many fans ignore the fundamentals for a flashy dunk. BTW haters, the flashiest dunk counts just the same as a calm lay up.
100% agree, and players like josh who just focus on the fundamentals can have a lot more longevity compared to players who end up injuring themselves with crazy highlight plays
as an aussie, with him at point, he's a player that can both carry a team but also play along with his passing ability, with it only being his 2nd season, hopefully he'll turn out great, missed the creativity in passes that point guards bring.
@@ry_an. in fairness hes had games where hes carried the team (for example the New york game) his 3's isn't up to scratch hit but his percetanges each year has increased but that game against new york (also the game against new orleans in the knock out game last season) he scored like 28/30 points 14 rebounds 12 assists or something like that. good thing with OKC is they have enough perimter shooters that he doesnt have to be that threat as long as hes creating plays

I love Giddey's game but nash was a 50/40/90% shooter from the field, 3pt range and free throw stripe. WAY different type of players past incredible passing skills. Giddey is already an all time great talent passer at 20 somehow. Like Rubio was
First of all he can shoot much better than Ben, and he’s not that great of a shooter. Second, he drives to the lane with more confidence and plays harder with more determination. And third, he’s a more creative passer and playmaker. Not a good comparison at all. Bad take.
