I absolutely love Lamelo's game. He's light years ahead of where he should be. Hes got Jason Kidd, Magic Johnson DNA. If he can stay healthy he's gonna be a all time great PG.
I'm already seeing it, LaMelo ain't winning a ring with the Hornets. Just isn't a playoff contender team. For the last seasons: -they fired a coach right after they got a winning record after several years. (Borrego) -they re-hired a coach they fired before. (Clifford) -they got a GM that made the worst moves in the history of GM's. (MJ) -they got a player who couldn't even play a damn minute in the NBA "for the foreseeable future" for smacking his wife and endangering their children. (Bridges) -they got a another overrated player with an absurd contract. (Hayward) -a decent potential coach backed out on wanting to coach the Hornets (Atkinson) -they got their franchise player who's likely an injury-prone (Ball) - and recently they got another youngling wildin' out on social media. (Jones) If they have a decent organization, they wouldn't let any of the above happen. But they aren't, and the team's at most decent.
