Unfortunately I didn’t stay in any hotels as we did airbnb but there was a beautiful hotel on the beach front I saw called: villa harmony . Hope you have a fab time! :) KATIE x
Probably not, these are very walkable areas, you can also cycle if you want to get around quicker. You would only rent a car for traveling between cities as the car is the fastest way na autoput. And keep in mind that they are pretty much all stick shifts so if you've never driven one before I suggest learning, I'm sure you can rent automatic but they tend to be more expensive for well, tourist purposes lol. Good luck I hope you decide to visit!
Hi Lindsay! I would say it depends on what you want to do and if you want to go on excursion or not? Make a plan of the things you want to do and see if you will need one or can do a package trip? Split itself is walkable though x

I would like to go to split next summer. Would you recommend to stay in Split or in a subburban area like Stobrec, Mertojak or Firule?

Hey! Thank you! In split you can use euro or kuna or pay by card but in the smaller villages you need cash in kuna :) x
