🇵🇫 Tahiti in 4K #31: Full drive around Tahiti (18-May-2023)

Ascension Thursday is a public holiday in Tahiti so I did a complete drive around the island ... about 185km in total, taking almost four hours.
0:00:20 ... starting at the Te Moana Resort
0:03:28 ... keep left to avoid roundabout
0:09:40 ... firefighters (sapeurs pompiers)
0:18:40 ... some tricky picture-in-picture ... I just love the green mountains
0:37:25 ... police (gendarmes)
0:57:43 ... Taravao
0:57:58 ... turning right to Teahupo'o
1:18:20 ... end of the public road!
1:32:50 ... heading inland & up a hill
1:38:25 ... taking in the serenity ("The Castle" movie reference)
1:38:50 ... heading back down - nice view
1:51:40 ... back in Taravao
1:53:38 ... turning right to Tautira
2:15:00 ... end of the public road!
2:17:07 ... Tautira Beach (Plage de Tautira)
2:38:15 ... back in Taravao again, heading to Papeete via the eastern side
3:11:50 ... turnoff for the Fa'aruma'i Waterfalls ( • 🇵🇫 Tahiti in 4K #23: F... )
3:12:05 ... and Arahoho Blowhole ( • 🇵🇫 Tahiti in 4K #28: P... )
3:15:50 ... turnoff for Papeno'o Valley ( • 🇵🇫 Tahiti in 4K #20: O... )
3:35:00 ... coming into Papeete
3:41:00 ... taking the highway instead of Fa'a'ā centre ( • 🇵🇫 Tahiti in 4K #28: P... )
I was able to film continuously on my GoPro HERO 11 by using a 256GB Micro SD card (10hrs) as well as the USB pass-through door on the camera (and a long cable) to keep the camera charged via the car.
