Thanks for this great documentary, I appreciate most beautiful island in the world, and learned more about the culture, history and people from Tahiti.
Well, it was really humid and of course, very expensive on the FPIslands. The cruise itself was great but at the end, we were asked to tip quite a bit. We paid close to $200 for a final tip that was to be dispersed among staff. The staff was excellent and the whole experience was fantastic!
They ask you to tip? And they expect a certain percentage ... That's disgusting. A tip is supposed to be a gratuity. Fair enough if you get excellent service or the staff perform above the call of duty and put themselves out to make you comfortable but to DEMAND a tip that is a form of extortion. It should be outlawed. I would have told them where to shove it..... I'd sooner donate $200 to charity cos I bet the staff do not see a penny of that. The staffs wages is down to the management.
Awesome videos! Very informative with breathtaking scenaryl Adventurous with a variety of activities and history. I love the people! What's not to love about Tahiti!!!
Amazing anyone made it to these islands from Asia. Even in a big boat, thats a big stretch of ocean to just set out across not knowing where your going. They must have been some skillful boat builders or navigators to end up on these islands.

These documentaries age Very well, oh I long for late 80’s early 90’s island life. The old and new worlds were in perfect balance then.
Couldn’t agree more
But that theory applies most around the world, i miss the good 80s and 90s...when we laughed that the innerweb would know it all...😉
Ah relaxing nostalgia... pristine beaches, all white summer attires, the muted 90s VHS colors, the high waists and even the Toyota Corollas.
for me the most beautiful area of our glorious planet
It is really feel peace to watch your documentary mr. Alain thx
