I worked for a company where we had no choice but to join the union. In the 25 years I worked there I had never had an issue that required the help of the union.
When they would come around at Presidential election time with hand-outs on who to vote for ( it was always a Democrat) I would crumple it up and throw it in the trash. I still had free will to choose who I wanted for President.
The union rep actually told me, to my face, if it wasn't for the bad workers he wouldn't have a job!

Blacks here were self sufficient and looked out themselves and others. In the community where I was raised it was so easy to get along with everyone.
