hey man. If I have had a tendon problem from an acute event like a bicep curl but I don’t give it enough time to heal and it continues for months that could technically still be tindonitis instead of tendonosis right? Because you aren’t allowing it to heal and if you did your issue would go away? Thanks.

      Thanks for the question!
It would actually be more likely to go from tendonitis to tendinosis if left unchecked, as tendonitis is generally thought of as the more short term inflammation with tendinosis being more related to long term changes.
You nailed it though, if you don't allow the tissue to heal the issue won't go away! This doesn't mean you can't do any activity, you just need to be keeping the activity below a level of further irritation. This is where working with a therapist can help find that line of what you can/can't do during the healing phase of a tissue!

Thanks for checking out the video!
I would be interested in doing more responses to questions, I've done a few in my time as a UA-camr and enjoy the format!
PTs in Canada cannot use Dr. before their name as the program is a master's program and not a doctorate as it is in other countries. The exception would be if you receive a PhD, but this is not the case for most clinical Physiotherapists.
