Love the video, thanks! I have summarized the questions as I find it helpful to write things down (not meant as a replacement fir watching the video, but as an executive summary:) 1. If you knew you couldn't fail, what would you do? 2. How will achieving this goal help you and others around you? 3. What happens if you didn't achieve your goal? 4. What is the smallest first step you can take right now to make progress towards your goals? 5. By saying YES to this, what are you saying NO to? 6. What is really important to you? 7. What are you focusing on today?
"What happens if you don't achieve this goal?" is also a good question to spot fake goals, that people are not actually motivated and drawn to (things that you THINK are your goals, but you really couldn't care less about it)
I ask my clients what is important to them all the time. Its important especially when deciding how to structure the amount of time you'll spend on certain things in your business.
1) If you knew you couldn't fail, what would you do? 2)How will achieving this goal impact you and others around you? 3) What would happen if you didn't achieve the Goal? 4) What's the first step you can take right now to progress towards your goal 5) By saying Yes to this what are you saying no to? 6) What's really important to you? 7)What are you focusing on today?
Great questions! I especially liked the reminder that there is a clear distinction between pondering the past to get useful info versus processing the past, which might be too time-consuming, and might take time away from future-oriented questions.
My number one question is "What's the most important thing?" It's really clarifying and gets them out of drama and distraction into a higher level perspective. Great video, thanks 🙏.

These questions are very helpful thank u. The one thing that I learned is to only ask open ended questions to help the client really think and continue to talk 70% of the time. So why questions should not be asked because they can be answered with 1 word.
Very first thing I learned in my life coaching course was never use the word "Why".. The client might feel judged / attacked for the way they think or lived their life thus far... Example "Why do you think that?" vs, "What makes you think that?"...
Thanks Ajit, I just listened to the "7 things that indicate that you are ready to become a coach" and they were very on point for me. I AM READY! This is very helpful for helping me understand what kind of conversations are helpful to people I might coach. Thank-you!!
Love your perspective, Ajit! You truly are a value add to the coach community. 🤗 A powerful question I like to ask is: What can I/you celebrate about myself/yourself today? I find this useful because we are often too focused on the parts of ourselves we want to improve and it’s nice to shift our attention to ALL the things about us which we can celebrate right now.
These are amazing questions! thank you for sharing. Some others I have heard that I thought were really good is asking what their love languages are, asking how they would like me to hold them accountable, and asking what their learning styles are
Hi there! If you're asking for powerful questions about the past, this video might be what you're looking for: ua-cam.com/video/lqo49LLbfVo/v-deo.html.
As ever, great content. Also in the comments! Thank you all! One of the most powerful achievements of you, Ajit, is how you bring people together, to blossom and sow among eachother. Thank you for being the gardner! ;)
Wow, I love these 7 questions. Would you be able to show more real coaching conversations with coachees that demonstrate the application of the questions?
Great question, Mounyee! Here's our playlist of coaching demonstrations by renowned master coaches (and Evercoach authors!), such as Christine Hassler, Rich Litvin, Margaret Moore, etc. It's a great way of watching coaching in action and identifying the different powerful questions and tools they use with clients. We hope you enjoy them: ua-cam.com/play/PLLz6vjpxFbXjbUJ9ZgZXpmjgWmqXzWNEJ.html ❤
Ajilt this questions I think they are not powerful for life coaching or business caoching only. This questions are powerful questions for self coaching, self actualization toward future, for goal settings and achieving those goals... I feel there is a lot.... very transceny ☺️☺️
Excellent questions, Copra! These are 2 videos that can give you some insights to answer that: ua-cam.com/video/A2Rl9F6okdc/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/BohYRADFAmI/v-deo.html Thanks for asking ❤
1. If you knew you couldn't fail, what would you do? 2. How would achieving this goal impact you and those around you? 3. What would happen if you didn't acheive your goal? 4. What is the small step you can take right now towards achieving your goal? 5. By saying yes to this, what are you saying no to? 6. What is really important to you? 7. What are you focusing on today?
Great question, Mireille! Sometimes clients can have a great goal they want to achieve but don't take actions to make it happen. By bringing awareness to "what would happen if you don't achieve it", which means no progress, being stuck, it can bring them insights on why they want to achieve that goal in the first place and use that little bit of fear (realizing that things won't change) as drive and motivation to encourage action towards their goal. Does this make sense? :)
Still waiting for the 21 questions 15 hours after. Instead I got 2 emails offers asking me to join the membership. Is the 21 questions real or a catch?

Great question, Inge! It's crucial that we, as coaches, take care of ourselves and our own energy before, during, and after a coaching session, so we can be fully present during the session and also be able to "cut the cord" and detach after a session is over. For that, we recommend having a specific routine that works for you: meditation, mindfulness, stretching, breathwork, etc - whichever helps you best manage your energy so a client's negative or low energy doesn't drown you. You can also practice tools to help your client's energy rise and balance it out better. Here are some tools you might find interesting: ua-cam.com/video/owqDWXdbGk4/v-deo.html. Thanks for sharing ❤
Great question, Wilburty! We suggest watching this video to clarify what life coaching is and what life coaches do: ua-cam.com/video/lhehBbA4cHw/v-deo.html
'How is that working for you?' seems to get them to reflect on a behavior that is not working. ' What could you try that might better allign with your values and move you toward your goals? ' is always the question I ask myself, but it requires already defining the client's core values and goals for it to work in a coaching context.
Amateurs teaching rookies what they think they should know while pic pocketing they wallets. Bruno Mars’s here isn’t teaching you anything that isn’t already in you.
That's a great observation and that's exactly what coaching does. Coaches don't tell people the answers, they help them find the answers within themselves. We already have all the information we need inside of us, we just sometimes need someone else to help us see it!

Fear n stupidity are two different things. To not have any fear is insane but more importantly depending on the situation. Is stupidity
1. If you knew you couldn't fail, what would you do?
2. How would achieving this goal impact you and those around you?
3. What would happen if you didn't acheive your goal?
4. What is the small step you can take right now towards achieving your goal?
5. By saying yes to this, what are you saying no to?

Should a person ever have to achieve anything by himself or herself and happy to thank no one but himself likewise Would you feel complete?
Hi Christopher! Could you please rephrase your question? So we can answer accordingly :) Thanks for asking!
