Basically added a sphere and added Earth texture maps to it. Then duplicated the sphere, scaled it up, and added a clouds texture. Duplicated it again, and added an atmosphere material to it. CG Geek made a Tutorial on how to make the Earth in Blender on his Channel. Blender Guru also made a Blender tutorial on how to make the Earth. You could check out those videos on there channels. Also if you'd like to purchase the Earth 3d model that I used, I am selling it on my Blender Market store. Hope this helps.
Thanks! I can't remember how long it took to render. At the time I created this, I was using a GTX 1050 ti. But since then I have upgraded and I now have an RTX 2080 Super.
Upvote! The animation was good, the science was not so good. I mean it's not like if you blast off and go straight up and turn off your engines you'll just float in space. If you did that you'd fall back down to Earth. You also have to go sideways at about 17,000 mph to get into orbit. Similarly, it's not like from orbit around Mars you just detach and you'll go straight down, because you have to de-orbit first with a retro burn. So the science was not so good, but I think the point is you successfully made a blender movie. That's cool.
Lol, Thanks! Yeah, I wasn't really going for realism. I was just trying to make something Cool. Also I cut out a lot of the steps it takes to launch and land, to speed up the short film and make it more exciting. Just showing the most interesting parts. And I know all about realistic space flight, seriously. I watch SpaceX and Nasa's UA-cam channels, as well as some other channels, like Everyday Astronaut. I love to watch the Soyuz Rockets launch to the ISS and I also watch all of the SpaceX Starship and Dragon launches. Also I sometimes listen to some space Podcasts, so I'm a real space nerd. Lol. But yeah your right, this wasn't very realistic. Thanks for watching! : )
That one who disliked, is the definition of jealousy!

So cool!!!👍👍 Pls what GPU do you use, and how long did it take you to render each frame?
Thanks! I can't remember how long it took to render. At the time I created this, I was using a GTX 1050 ti. But since then I have upgraded and I now have an RTX 2080 Super.
Oh rook! Eets za Ryan King! Sorry.
Great animation and composition. What can be done to make the actual render look more realistic?
thanks
Tutorial to create waiting for that tut.
Specifically what part of this do you want a tutorial on?
@@RyanKingArt well. Want this entire animation tutorial I will love ❤️ it man. Please?
