That double decker Mijello is interesting. I have the Mijello with the clear plastic insert. I tuck a swatch paper under it that mirrors the paints in the 18 wells. I don’t know if I could give that up, but this one is a contender.
I like how you describe what each colour reminds you of, as well as how it mixes with other colours you use. Really nice. I also prefer plastic palettes as they get better with use. They're also much more robust in general use than the metal ones. Some people say they stain - well they all do, even the baked enamel. The only ones that don't are the ceramic.
It's never happened to me on this one, but sometimes it does on the cheap generic ones. Generally I just put some water on the well and the paint sticks again to the surface

This is cool. I never really use my old Mijelo palettes because one side goes upside down and paint comes off.
