Everything turned out beautifully art work is stunning now. Lamp is gorgeous with the paint color the gold could be toned down for the aged look. You always inspired creativity in me when you do these flips. Have a wonderful week.
You do YOU Cory! Doesn't really matter what we out here enjoying your makeovers watchinng you refresh items and reperposing them in useful beautiful ways YOU LIKE😊
Great finds! I have a lamp like that red one, from 1940s, inherited it when my aunt passed. It has a big ruby knob on the hasp to hold the shade which is just like your shade! And oh those beautiful pictures! Priceless! Enjoying the beautiful background music! Thanks for sharing with us! Hugs!
Hello, I love what you have done and the lamp and shade are gorgeous. I love your ideas and so get ideas for myself.Iam so glad I found your channel. ❤️🇨🇦🙏
The lamp turned out so beautifully. A lampshade with crystals dangling reminds me of a lamp in a hotel room we stayed at in Paris years ago. You are very down to earth. So appealing.
What a beautiful video to wake up to here in the UK, everything is absolutely gorgeous and definately to my taste. You have so inspired me to take a second look at things before I throw them out! Have a great week, look forward to your next video
I think you did a great job on everything. Because the lamps “ fussiness” isn’t my thing I probably would have painted over the center pic and done a more modern transfer over the top. ( I realize most people are gasping). The shade seems fine but large. the corbels flipped over is genius! I’m going to copy that for sure
Thank you! I understand the desire to modernize it. That's the beauty of art, you can do it how you want to and follow your instincts. I bet you can find a lamp like this near you some day to put a transfer in. I think that would look cool
My mother used to have a set of 2 lamps like the one you painted blue. Of course hers were that unattractive color it was before you painted it, which I never liked, even as a child. Your blue color took it up several steps to a breathtaking piece. I wish I had those lamps now to update just like yours. Its beautiful.
The blue transformed the lamp! I’d love to see some white wax over the blue and a more simple shade would let the lamp be the star! Great way to save that lamp
LOVE the blue on the lamp and the shelves. I noticed a raised band at the bottom of the lamp and wondered what it would look like with the gold like you did on the shelves. I think that shade looks beautiful on the lamp but just out of curiosity I wonder what another style would look like. You always amaze me with your eye for things I would never think of. ❤❤
I like the lamp and the shape of lampshade but it looks a little big for the lamp. I love the way the 2 sconce/shelves turned out with the blue paint and gold leaf - great job!
Thats such a pretty lamp now. It was tired and sad. You really made it beautiful. Im on the fence about the shade but i believe its because we are used to seeing a more straight shape. It fits the style of the lamp well. The corbels are beautiful too
I don't care for the lamp; it's just not my taste. I think it looks outdated and the shade looks too big for it. Just my opinion 😊 I love your videos though. You inspire me so much and I learn so much watching you. I just opened my own vendor booth so your ideas really help!
The artwork and frames looks sooooo good!! I think the lampshade shape is perfect but maybe a little too large for the lamp, which is gorgeous in the French blue!! The wall sconces/decorative pieces you displayed next to the lamp are just lovely. The entire vignette is lovely!!!! ❤ You're a serious artist, Cory. Well done!
Hi Cory! Amazing makeovers as usual! To answer your question on the lamp, I love the shade it goes perfect! Just a suggestion but not necessary, you could rub n buff the gold parts to tone down the gold just a hair, but it's fine the way it is. The reverse distressing technique you did on the wall shelves really did turn out stunning! I do the same technique on alot of my makeovers also, I love the effect it gives! It really makes the details stand out! (But it's also called dry brushing I think?) And your new shirt looks so cute on you! :-)
I think you should go back to the lamp and do some reverse distressing to match the corbels, especially around the center art and base where you outlined with your brush. It would look better if you somewhat mimic the original trim in those areas rather than straight brush lines.
Shade seems too large . Love the style with the very beautifully painted lamp. Perhaps raising the shade up with a “harp”.
I think you're right it's a little bit too big
Agreed, it seems just a tad bit too large. Too bad. It was perfect for the lamp otherwise.
I agree, either a larger harp, or a smaller shade xx
I think I would also touch up the gold, perhaps with rub n buff
I agree, to big, but I think that the shape is good
The lamp is out of this world! That blue is breathtaking!
Thank you!!!
Framing the art makes such a difference! Love that pale blue you used, very nice vignette.
Thanks so much!
I love that your husband helps. It’s such team work. His frames really look fabulous! Your creativity is phenomenal❣️
Thank you so much!
The lamp looks so much better painted blue and the lampshade goes perfectly!! Adding the frames to the prints really dresses them up!!
Thanks so much! 😊
I think the lamp came out absolutely adorable! Very feminine.

I think the lamp shade is too large for the lamp. But, I love both of them. You are so creative.
Thank you! I can agree

I love the color of the lamp, as well as the lampshade. It is beautiful.
Thank you!
Gorgeous and elegant! I love the French blue! I am so jealous! There are no Goodwill stores in Greece... Thanks so much for
Thank you so much! But you have so much beauty and history to make up for not having a goodwill 😀
Love the lamp
I look forward to your posts, I wish I lived in America your goodwill outlets are so much cheaper than our English charity shops.

That is awesome! Thank you for sharing that.
Love the French redoos. Look upscale.Good job,
Glad you like them!
I have the exact same lamps like the one you painted blue. they were a wedding gift to my parents in 1946. mine is white
Wow!!!! I didn't think they were that old. Thank you for sharing
Stunning recreations.
Thanks so much 😊
I love the shape of the shade but I think it over-powers the lamp.
I think it might be too big
Absolutely beautiful, one of my favorite vignettes so far! Love your videos!
Thank you so much!
Awesome
I find brass lamp bases when thrifting. I use them give a lamp a more elegant look and to balance a lamp shade...the blue is so pretty
Great idea!!
The blue transformed the lamp! I’d love to see some white wax over the blue and a more simple shade would let the lamp be the star! Great way to save that lamp
Thanks for the tips!

You are so good at this!! I'm so happy you use your talent.
Thank you so much!!
I would rub and buff the gold on the lamp to matte it down a bit. And smaller shade! 😊
I thought the lamp turned surprising pretty; yes the lamp shade was perfect. And the little shelves are gorgeous! Love that shade of blue with gold!
Thank you so much! So glad you liked it
