You are very sweet to do so much work and then give stuff away to those going on their own after being in foster care I hope everything wonderful in life comes to you and your family god bless and carry on the world is a better place because of people like you
I have told friends about this kind of nonprofit organization. It truly warms my heart. If I wasn’t disabled I would be volunteering. At least I’m fortunate enough to be able to donate money. If you have the name of the organization please reply. It’s so very thoughtful of the people who donated things to you from the estate. I wondered if people ever did that. It truly makes sense so you don’t spend so much time trying to find items to flip. I hope more people contact you with items they no longer want or need. The chest and everything look beautiful!
I wasn't aware of that .but because of your determination and drive I'm sure you will do something else wonderful. I live the videos when your kids want to help.
@@DesertDIY Shame they don't respond!! My sister is a foster parent in Tucson, and I KNOW kids who age out of the system need a lot of help! Maybe contact a higher-up in the CPS system?
Yes your lamp-alabra is very cool and unique and love the gold! Never thought I’d like a lamp with a bare lampshade like that but this one I DO! The little dresser turned out very nice too. Love the like sage green.
You nailed the Bridgerton look. Love that green. Painting my kitchen cabinets a wee bit darker tone of that green. You always inspire me with your flips. Lamp is gorgeous. Have an amazing week.
Your projects are always gorgeous. And I love that little table so much. That green is to die for. I have never seen the show Bridgerton, but you can bet I’m going to check it out. I was just thinking that adding some dark brown wax on top of that white wax on the top of the little table would look pretty too. I feel like if the top was a little darker, it would make that gorgeous green pop, even more.
The green is absolutely gorgeous! Love the little chest! So beautiful! I have never seen a lamp like that, it is amazing! Love the stunning picture, it goes perfectly with the table and lamp! The small picture is so lovely!❤️❤️❤️
OMYGOSH! I thought that lamp was sort of pretty, but mostly strange....and then when you put in the warm bulb and lit the candles!! Be still my heart! It is EVERYTHING!!! love-love-love!
I love the story behind the furniture piece and the music tickled me in a great way I’ve never watched Bridgerton, however, I could imagine that the music goes along with the theme. Lol great job.
The dresser color was beautiful. Great score on the scrap book. Pages are gorgeous. They will make some great framed art. Thank you for these videos. I love sitting back to enjoy your great ideas.
Thanks Cory, for this video! I loved this vignette. The lamp fit in perfectly. I thought the dresser looked very high end. Take care and God bless! ❤🙏😊
Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas always inspiring love everything that lampshade awesome so glad you had the booth be able to show you ideas. Have a wonderful blessed Monday and week.
LAMPALABRA!!!🤣😂🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Love the way the wire frame looks . That lightbulb is the perfect finishing touch. Now I wanna go to rip all of the fabric of my lampshades.🤣😁
@@DesertDIYby just using the wire frame of shade you can light the candles without worrying about catching a shade on fire. LAMPALABRAS should always have their candles lit🤣😁
Just finished an old piece of my mom's for my daughter. A small chest. It is solid cherry but in rough condition. She didn't want it to be so red so first stain was walnut, but still a lot of red in it so next put on ebony and it turned into a deep dark brown. Kept the original brass pulls. Was going to change then but she said no. The sound they make when I open and shut the draws remind me of grandma. Who knew??? Thanks for the inspiration to get this project done! Also love your music choices ❤
The lamp-alabra is gorgeous and unique, the gold color and that mood lighting bulb. Never thought I’d like a bare lampshade like that but this I DO! And I love the botanical print too. The pale sage green dresser is a nice color too. 😄
bridgerton Blue Beads on the lampshade were the rage in the day.... I have some really cool ones from Pier 1 back when they were new and sold jewelry, dresses and mini shades for candles and fake candles like at Christmas time were very in...yes 1990s and another set from Bombay Co. Or whatever it was called that would be so appropriate for season 2 with the Indian influence.
I absolutely love the green! Beautiful. If I owned this, might go to Hobby Lobby to look for one of their unique drawer pulls to go with my individual decor.
I’m just watching this. Great stuff. You could get battery operated candles to put on you candelabra. They usually come with remote controls & timers. Beautiful work. I love watching you do you!!!😊
The sage green is beautiful! The candle/lamp turned out wonderful too!! I would love to purchase some of your smaller items that wouldn't be too heavy to mail! How do I find your etsy shop? Keep posting these flips for us! I am so amazed at how your sweet hubie helps you!! God bless you both for helping out less fortunate young people out of foster care! Best wishes!!
Thank you Laurie. I have my website linked in the description box. Scroll to the bottom of my website and click on the etsy link. I usually only add items when people specifically request to buy them.
Love the Regency era & all the beautiful colors they used. I have to admit, I've never seen a candle holder/lamp before. That was definitely interesting! lol
Hay, I love your vignette. I particularly like the way you staged the floral print resting on the dresser with your candelabra lamp. My brother created a three print photo art piece that I did not want to hang. I can see myself doing what you did and adding some beautiful gold birds on a lamp, sitting in front of his photographed bird artwork thank you for the inspiration. Thank you for sharing your talent.😇
Very beautiful and usual lamp plus one in a million. I think she could have used the cloth lamp shade along with battery operated tapers from Amazon or Temu. But I do love the lamp. Would love to have it.
I love that candle lamp shade! I actually did something similar in my home with a lamp, I call it a skeleton lamp shade and I also added in Edison bulb.
For me personally, if the wood is in good shape I vote to enhance its beauty. I do love the pop of redness with your chosen shade of green. I love subtle colors in some areas. I am also a lover of bold colors as well. Your work is so warm and inviting. You have a great eye. Beautiful work.
Love the projects, really pretty. Personally I would use battery operated candles in the lamp so I could use a lampshade, or the open frame like you have. Very nice.
The painting behind the lamp with the green frame is perfect with pop of color. Great idea to remove the fabric off the shade. Like .... but to big for that size table.

I absolutely love the green! Beautiful. If I owned this, might go to Hobby Lobby to look for one of their unique drawer pulls to go with my individual decor.
I'm so glad you liked it! Yes I would love some unique pulls on there but there is no screw on the back to remove them so they'd have to be cut off.

For some reason I imagine that the chest of drawers need a different set of knobs. Love all your projects today, Corey.
I thought that too! But then I saw that you can't unscrew them. I think they are glued and nailed on.
