- Randy starts the clean up process on the 1986 Honda CT110 Motorcycle that he got from a friend with an incredible 500 original miles since new! As with any good adventure, there must be some adversity. Randy battles catastrophic results from lack of mental clarity, using the wrong chemicals, and heroically battles ferocious wildlife, yet forges ahead to reveal the hidden beauty under years of neglect and filth.

One of my favorite motorcycles. Don’t be to hard on yourself, we all make mistakes, but we also all learn by them.
I use carb cleaner on old metal chairs that has a bunch of layers of paint. It makes a cool ti dye effect that’s really cool. Then satin clear over it to protect from rust etc getting on your clothes. Oh, you use steel wool or scotch brite to peel the paint to the desired colors and effects.
I yelled but you didn't hear me, carb cleaner for carbs mate.
Simple Green is a great dilutable degreaser spray that cleans and leaves a wet look and even smells nice!
just dont use it on aluminum

Ended up selling it at auction a while back.
As the bike is unused a clean with a car wash and gentle brushes would do most of the cleaning. Bit of degreaser for the chain and don’t put any solvents near the paint. If for sale I would personally buy in as is state.
I think a lot of people would buy it in its current state. But the value is higher with it cleaned up and running properly. That is what I intend to do.
That bike turned out good and are you going to keep it? Also one of my favorite bikes.
