- We were recently invited to an exclusive event called ‘Fast Friends’ organised by Targa Club, a members club that hosts events for ‘Discerning Drivers and Collectors’. As well as seeing some of the rare and interesting rally cars attending the event we met Geoff Page who was part of the team that built the engines for the Ford RS200’s. Geoff tells us what it was like to help develop a Group B legend!
Thanks again to all the team at Targa Club for having us and to Geoff Page and Pat Doran for participating in the video.
Thanks also to Amy Shore for the awesome thumbnail photo. 📸

Thanks Geoff page you and your team made a savage machine respect 🙏
Wait until you get him on Alfa’s! I sold Geoff a car 20yrs ago when he was still at Mountune. He gave me some Mountune goodies and a Colin McRae Focus WRC piston that had failed. Thank you again Geoff! 👍🏻
Many thanks Geoff for getting me into 157 and inviting me to this event. Was a great day out.
Thanks for sharing !!!!!. Love the RS200👍🇦🇺
Love the RS200, especially in the Q8 livery 👌
Waiting for part 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 that will cover the RS200 in technical detail. 👍😬
An amazing car that had its moment breifly but yet has lodged itself in all car peoples memories... first time I ever knew about it was when I was a kid looong ago and a 1:64 matchbox rally toy car...in the famous white and blue stripes
All we know is he's called the Stig 😄
hey i used to watch these at Boreham Essex, the old grand prix track and rally track, we used to sneak in as kids and watch them testing them, i am sure i see Barry lee driving one,

You can see the full RS200 clips of it in action in 1986 on my channel.
Anyone confirm that I was in one in the late eighties that had an additional shifter for high and low range? Not seen another example that was that way, I’ve got an old Polaroid of the interior with the shifter next to the gear change? Personal modification????
I clicked play so quickly my index finger traveled through time.
Crying shame that Lydden circuit wasn't bought by McLaren in the early 90's due to the NIMBY's of Sheppardswell
Lancia stratos
Is that an F1 in the background?
