The film tells the stories of the average Sumy locals who weapon in hand have stood up for their lands.

Respect from China, the citizens of Sumy show us what true patriotism is, loving your homeland, loving your family and friends and fighting for it. Fighting for a dictator is not patriotic, it is evil and an accomplice to the devil. It brought tears to my eyes, and I saw a group of people who were brave enough to defend their way of life. I hope that my country, my people, will one day acknowledge all the wrongs we have done and prove to the whole world that we belong to the free world family.
May freedom belong to the Ukrainian people.

А кто сказал что в России диктатура????? Путин работает на Россию. И всегда договаривается с нормальными лидерами стран. А с США бесполезно договариваться. И США виноваты в крови на Украине. Thank you for this excellent report and especially for the flawless English narration. This is the story of ordinary citizens who, under the threat of a vastly superior invading army, took up arms to defend their country and it's citizens. Ukrainians have become an inspirational example to the whole world and it's very important that these stories are filmed, recorded and archived. Not just for historical reasons but as a tribute to those brave souls who lost their lives during this heroic defence. 'They shall not grow old, as we who are left grow old. If you notice mistakes in translation with the words “the” and “a” it is because Ukrainian and Russian (the translator’s native language or the language of whoever wrote the translation out) have no articles like “the” or “a”. A fair amount of Russians/Ukrainians who have learned English will make mistakes with these two words because there are no equivalents to them in Russian/Ukrainian.

This is a excellent documentary about the defense of the Ukraine city of Sumy by local civilians some with military experience.
I would highly recommend watching this documentary and I would like to point out that the English dubbing was well done.

True patriots and heroes determined to do something about this invasion. The old guy has probably been a pensioner for years. Still, he jumped the bike to join his comrades in the battle for Ukraine. The free world must unite and help these brave people in every possible way. They have a right to freedom and peaceful living.

Damn, those first couple months were wild for both sides. The Russians made so many mistakes and i fear that Ukraine assumed that would always be the case. Unfortunately the tables have turned and these men and women are in such a dire position. Lord, if you're there, please watch over these brave people and make a comfortable place upstairs for those who've fallen.

In 2016 I was working in Florida and ran into a woman who had an accent and I asked her where she was from and she said Ukraine!...so I said oh wow it's dangerous over there right? she looked at me like I was crazy and said no why would it be dangerous? I said hello! Russia invaded their country and started war over there! ...she told me I didn't know what I was talking about and I started to get mad and was like are you kidding me!! I seen it with my own eyes!!! Anyway I couldn't exactly argue with her about it at the time especially since I needed to get on her property to do my job when I did get in her yard I seen where someone took a bucket of red paint and threw it at the foot of her door!... After the invasion in 2022 I have always been suspicious of that woman and her husband!

I think a recognize where that convoy was hit...the Russians piled up against the wall and had grenades thrown from other side...i may be mistaken, but a incredible piece of footage none the less
Grenade over the wall footage was from Mariupol during siege. Would be cool if it was in Sumy, i would be around to see aftermath in person

There are no words. I think the population of the countries that are extremely comfortable and feel secure would benefit a great deal from watching this. I think if Mike Johnson, had the backbone of anything other than a fucking jellyfish, saw this maybe he would understand the importance of taking the vote on Ukraine aid.
