I do turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, garlic, black pepper, lemon, cayenne pepper, EVERYDAY.
They told me years ago that I had hepatitis C, high blood pressure, damaged liver and a heart that only functioned 15%. After I started my regiment, hepatitis C is gone, my heart rate is back up to normal and my high blood pressure has disappeared. Also my doctor told me that my liver looks good, just a lil fat on it. Well I'll be 70 in a minute and ride my bike everyday. Life is good finally!

I juice fresh tumeric and fresh ginger, mix the juice together, freeze it in ice cubes, and then I make a tea daily from the cubes and add in ground pepper, coconut oil and a splash of lemon juice. I have an autoimmune disease called ankylosing spondylitis which is part of the arthritis family. I do not use any anti inflammatory prescription drugs as they actually made me very ill. Thank you!

I'm a caregiver for my mom with Lung cancer. Many of us with cancer are doing off label and supplement drugs. We know our doctors don't know because they've not studied drugs that don't make any money for big pharma. We've on Curcumin and Tumeric and many other supplements. I'm in touch with an army of cancer patients from all over the world. We are trying everything and learning from each other. My point is " we have nothing to lose'. In all cases we are stage 4 cancer patients. We've given months to live and trying to survive. Some of us are NED and some are not but each cancer is different and our bodies react different to drugs. Please pray for this community of cancer patients. We are here snd forgotten by a world that doesn't see us. We're suffering while big pharma won't do any studies on drugs that we're seeing benefit from.

To the lady with her mum who has cancer, i wish you all the very best of luck. Some people DO CARE! Thinking of you, i think you are so brave! Just disgusted that people on here care more about their skin and enjoy eating, whilst poor people like you come online explaining how you try to help yourself. I think you deserve a medal!! Yup most definitely good for any type of inflammation in the body. I found a recipe for Golden paste which is a turmeric and coconut oil and black pepper very slowly heated in a pan on low heat until it thickens into a thick paste. It’s actually the very best way to prepare it because not only does it have the coconut oil as the healthy fat and the black pepper for absorption but the slow heating on very low heat for about ten mins is what releases more of the good stuff and makes it bioavailable for the body, people
Don’t realize when they take it raw or in capsule form that if they were to take it heated than they would get so much more of the benefits. It’s easy to prepare and can be stored in fridge in a jar and than you can take a spoonful out to add to hearty meals like soups and chili or you can just take a spoonful a day in your mouth or make golden milk with it, add a spoonful to warm milk and drink it. I found the recipe on a natural dog site when my senior Rottweiler had servere arthritis and wasn’t walking. It’s safe for dogs and I know it worked for her because obviously unlike humans, dogs don’t experience the placebo effect. After about seven days of me mixing a small amount in her wet food and slowly increasing it to about a tablespoon she was noble and even running again. I kept her on it daily for about two yrs until she was 14 and passed away which is a long life for a large breed dog. Anytime I ran out or stopped giving my it to her than I could see she was noticeably in pain. It would be easier to just give her a prepared capsule but the benefits of the golden paste were more potent than the capsules I was giving her previously with just black pepper and th Eric and coconut oil

But. I was at the store. I swear this lady was an angel sent from heaven I literally just had gotten my dignosis. And I was at the store attempting to buy some very expensive for me.. tumeric...black peper.. ginger.. and some garlic for my cancer health.
Maybe to most it's not expensive but to me it is. Im on a very limited income.n low and behold this lady helps me get it off the shelf.. n comes back around and ask me if she can give me a 100 dollar gift certificate. I said God bless u .. n yes you can thx u so much! U not only just bought me my spices but shoes I couldn't afford! Thxu soo much!
~About a month later I get approved to get an aide at home to help me. She brings me breakfast n my nurse brings me lunch. How did I get do 🙌 blessed!
    Breakfast. Sausage..muffin..
I thought I better make it cancer fighting sausage muffins.!
    So,
    my tumeric..black 🌶 pepper &ginger Mc- Donald's breakfast was born! 😆
Long story short u never know who u may meet in this world.. or whom u may help. Since my cancer dx. I have had many people buy my lunch. One of those was a man who walked up in the drive way in absolutely freezing Temps not for him self but just to pay for my food..
~I have had people stop me just to pray for me.. buy my groceries.. or just have a conversation with me.
How could I ever bee upset about cancer at 41yrs. with that kinda love. 🤔 n it all was from. Strangers who were just being nice to me when I really needed someone to be kind.

I love raw tumeric and used it in a nutrition regimen when I had a blood clot in my leg. Three months later and following progress with regular scans it was resolved. My doctor said I would need to take blood thinners the rest of my life. I began every day with puerh tea with fresh tumeric and ginger along with upping my intake of other things like garlic, pepper and some supplements too. I'm a big believer in food as medicine.

    • @jhankri
      @jhankri Рік тому +3

@Smart Choices - Life Simplified yes it was gone in three months, the same time line the doctor gave me for being on blood thinners. He did follow up with the regular scans of my leg just like when you take the drug. Half way thru, they said the clot had broken into two clots but knowing the body can be self healing I felt the clot was breaking up and dispersing. I continued with the nutrition approach. I also had a severe deficiency of vitamin D and took that as well. A large percentage of people with dvts have D deficiency. Although I know there are times when you need blood thinners or surgery, I personally do not believe in taking them for life as there are lots of foods that act as bloodthinners. My clot was in my leg but if your clot has traveled to your lungs which is very serious, you may need medical treatment recommended by your doctor. My doctor was open minded about what I did and monitored my progress with regular testing.

I am Iranian and we literally consume turmeric and saffron everyday. We sauté onions with turmeric , salt and pepper and that sautéed onion is the base for all the various Persian recipes. We use saffron over rice (mixed with oil and water and poured over rice). At 57 people still give me under forty. No Botox or injections, but I have done various lasers , micro needling and avoiding sun exposure. But the best anti aging routine I do is DRY FASTING, that boosts naturally the growth hormones by 700% and gets rid of stagnant cells, it’s truly magic , better than any skincare or treatment . If everyone dry fasted as a lifestyle, you would be out of business. It’s the fountain of youth that everyone is looking outside of themselves. For me a five day dry fast (no food and no water ) is something I practice every month and a weekly 42 hour dry fast. And no you don’t die if you start with recommended starting protocol and know how to break the fast. And when I eat it is whole food vegan mostly RAW. I suggest you read the work of Dr Filonov, expert on dry fasting , he scientifically explains the benefits of dry fasting…and no you don’t get dehydrated on short dry fast , because your body literally burst the fat cells to release water out of them, and that special water is your own self made water that is the best water for you. This phenomenon does not happen during a water or juice fast :)

I too started taking tumeric with black pepper due to knee pain. I had osteoarthritis that was so bad that when they finally did replace my knees, they tell me there was almost no solid bone left. However, I was still walking. It hurt, but I could still walk. I think it was the tumeric that made the difference. It gave me five extra years on my natural knees apparently because my muscles could hold me up. This is not to say that someone should wait that long. I had things going on that I had to wait. The tumeric held me up though, until I moved to a place where I could recover from knee surgery properly. I'm taking a few other supplements as well, but it was like things were kind of plateaued until I added the tumeric.

Hi Dr. Rajani, thanks for your educational videos! I'm a 51years young yogini, former dancer, with a very natural approach when it comes to interventions on my skin, very little to almost none intervention, but I take really good care of myself and I am always looking forward to new supplements, diets, approaches, routines, and skin products that can help me feel good (always looking for greatness!), and age gracefully ))) I have a long love relationship with turmeric which I used to take mainly as freshly squeezed juice from fresh organic root (along with a bit of olive oli and fresh pepper). I love the way it made me feel: turmeric is a great tonic and a strong anti-inflammatory. I have always been very supple but with turmeric I would change gear. As an athlete, I really felt the difference, as often there is a part of my body that is inflamed and huts. BUT 3/4years ago I had to stop taking it on a regular basis because I became super sensitive: it is a blood thinner and it would cause me to bleed more during my cycle and would also cause irregularities. I probably overdosed and for long time (8 years). As for the dosage, I had done my research at if taken as -fresh- root the maximum dosage should be 3g a day (1/2 inch slice of a small root) and I ever exceeded that. Now, I would take it always along with an inch of fresh juiced ginger, which I loooove, but had to stop taking that as well. Unfortunately. Turmeric is a blood thinner, ginger as well, the latter a very strong one. So I stopped both for quite a while. Recently, I bought curcumin in tincture form, from a very good company, thinking that it would be easier for me to control the dosage, but even taking 1/2 of the recommended dosage I would start bleeding (vaginally) very soon after taking it (a few days!). The pain (herniated disk - chronic injury) would go away within 20 minutes though (almost as strong as ibuprofen). So, now I use it only when really needed and not as a daily intake. And never when close to my next cycle. All this to say: this is a strong-amazing-delicious gift of the earth which should be taken carefully, and unfortunately is not for everyone to take as a daily routine! That's my experience!! ---MUCH LOVE

Admin.: 1 teaspoon per day on an empty stomach, I suggest 1st thing in the morning, straight up from a teaspoon. It can be eaten a little at a time like a favorite candy, the honey is a great sweetener.
I do not suggest adding a teaspoon of this mix into warm milk or any hot beverage, only because heat will diminish the nutrients and benefits of the honey.
    Blessings, peace ☮️

Sadhguru recommends taking marble sized balls of turmeric and neem every morning. Neem is an Indian tree and I buy the dried leaf powder, along with organic turmeric powder, at my local Indian market. You mix with coconut oil to form the balls. I've suspected that the reason Indians have survived centuries of disease, starvation and poor sanitation was due to the copious amounts of spices they use daily.

I use bulk tumeric from a spice dealer. I put tumeric in breads, cake, deserts, vegetables, anything I cook. Egg or macaroni salad. Mexican food, meats, tea, coffee, sauces, gravy, Italian dishes. I put it in my dogs food to help their aching joints. I probably use 2 to 4 teaspoons total a day among the dishes I cook, meaning each person get a portion of that amount in the food I cook. We like black pepper and olive oil in our foods so absorption is good.

I had a knee replacement 2 years ago. My doctor of Indian origin recommended turmeric for inflammation issues. He recommended making it into a tea with pepper. I recall him recommending adding a bit of butter to it. I took it as an organic supplement with curcumin and pepper when I had my coffee with cream in the morning.

I got my 73 year old mom drinking green tea with fresh turmeric and ginger boiled in the water and told her to stop taking her cholesterol medication. She just had blood work done and the doctor said everything is great and keep doing what she’s doing. I was a little worried because I make her bacon, eggs and avocados for breakfast almost every day. I guess eating fat and cholesterol doesn’t raise cholesterol, it’s sugar and processed food additives that cause it.

@@joelaino3793 fish broth is a great way to take it too. Recipe if you are interested- White fish, smoked fish e.g. haddock, salmon, prawns, muscles and any other seafood/shellfish you fancy, four large beefstake tomatoes (or tinned toms out of season) , one large onion, one to two cloves of garlic- or more to taste- salt, black pepper, three teaspoons (or more if you prefer it earthier) of turmeric powder, olive oil /butter……lightly brown the onions in a frying pan and add garlic and fish, after 3 mins, pop in a lidded pan, add the rest of the ingredients, simmer and add mushrooms, quartered, 20 minutes before the end, take around 3/4’s hour to cook on the gas hob, or an hour in the oven, a seafood stock cube enriches the flavour (added half way through). This is always better reheated the next day, 500g of fish plus the shell fish serves 3 to 4, and it’s beautiful. We don’t eat wheat, so we have it with rye bread croutons cooked in the oils where the fish and alliums were browned, and chop some chives and parsley to garnish once served, also can take it a step further and add a dollop or creme fresh or cream. 😊

I take two capsules of standardized extract turmeric with a percentage number of curcumin which also has a standardized amount of the black pepper extract that you mentioned. It is a company in Long Island called Nature's Rewards. I always take it with the maximum amount of Mega cod liver oil softgels, so that should take care of the Omega-3 essential fatty acids to enhance absorption. But now I found an even better extract in one capsule per day.

I suffered from Knee pain for 12 years, and doctors never done anything to help more than giving me pain medications.
I heard about turmeric about 5 years ago in some Joe Rogan's episode, then I tried it and less than e weeks i have my knees at 60%. I couldn't believe now, they are 85% and I use it everyday.
Turmeric as other antioxidants must be mixed with fat.
I mixed with coconut too, and warm it up. That's very important too.
