Some real nice shots you got there Dan, using that lens = the quality looks really good. I've never actually used an XC lens, yet, but remember watching a YT video some time ago, a female photographers channel, who was using and X-T30, or possibly an X-S20 (can't remember), with the XC 15-45 kit that came with it and I remember thinking what great quality images she got, the shots really were very pleasing to look at....Anyway, keep on rocking!
with the right light the XC line is remarkable. For me, the XC50-230 is light, compact, OIS for tele, and a lens I’m not as concerned about breaking the bank if I drop it. I’ve considered the 70-300 but I really don’t tele enough to justify the purchase and I really like the 50-230. The focus isn’t perfect (or even a little lol) but I’ve worked out a manual/auto hybrid style that makes the lens more usable for me. lol 😂 I’m not sure what I would do with a tele that just latched on lol. I can stick this in my bag and it takes little space and weighs next to nothing. quality wise you get what you pay for but in reasonable light this lens delivers. It’s also terrific for street style photography. It also works really well for SOOC because it renders color well for a cheapie. Thanks for checking in 👍
