We purchased a 2025 GV70 2.5T Sport Prestige 6 weeks and 2700 miles ago. The car has been absolutely flawless - everything just works. It's the quietest, most luxurious, and most comfortable car we've ever owned. I rather like the redundant control buttons. Hitting a hard button to call up the audio or the front camera display sure beats paging through infotainment menu! I've read comments about the hard/uncomfortable GV70 seats, but frankly, I just don't get it. The driver seat cushions and bolsters are adjustable to your preference - if the seat is too hard for you, simply lower the cushion air pressure! My wife needed a seat cushion in our previous CR-V to get comfortable but has no complaints about the Genesis seats. Thanks for the review!
I have the 2023 gv70 2.5t advance . I don’t have the massage seats or full digital display / third air con zone but otherwise it’s the the same .. I love the whole experience and I can say that I have ever accidentally tried to move the wrong control wheel ! .. the slight turbo lag can be overcome with advance throttle management .. the ride with the 19inch rims is even quieter and smoother than the 21 inch . I actually like the positive sounds / clicks from the controls and have no issues with the number of buttons ! . Everything just works and works well . Only real gripe is the mpg but I only do low mileage so not really a problem and I choose to use premium gas as I hope this will prolong engine life hoping to keep this car 10-15 years ..
Love this comment! I'm deciding, this week, between the 2.5 and the 3.5. - What is advance throttle management? Would my salesperson help me with that?
@@michelleannarino8059 I find this 2.5t doesn’t respond well to flooring the gas pedal .. I roll my foot over the pedal instead and it quickly picks up speed without much lag at all .. 0-60 in 5.6 seconds I’ve recorded this way
Great review Anthony. I would, like you, go witht he turbo 6 for sure. I test drove a G90 and it was great but like this one had so many buttons and switches. Happy Monday and hope that you are doing great!
Genesis needs to clean it up a bit, I’m not saying just screens but they have a lot of buttons. The G90 is awesome I was scheduled to do that one but it wasn’t ready but I’m going back tomorrow so we will see what the team brings 😁. Thanks James hope you are enjoying your Monday
I loved driving the G70 and it was so dang fast but the interior felt very busy. I like having actual buttons but not a million lol. Happy Monday to you too Anthony@@HawkeyeRides
Disagree with the cons but thanks for the video. The 2025 models are out now and the steel buttons have moved to the touch screen. Hate that. The piano buttons were far superior. I have 48,000 KM on my Sport Prestige...better than the new ones in my opinion. As for the seat massage sounds...wow, you have to be somewhere really quiet to hear that!
Please review the 3.5t; cons of the smaller engine advanced series: seats are way too stiff, road noise on the highway way too loud, having to connect to get apple car play is ridiculous and the touch controls need to be larger or reconfigured .
