Good idea, I will make something similar now but will use it with a low battery allarm on the balanced lead so as not to accidentaly completely discharge the batteries.

Nice, I am really thinking about adding a switch, to allow you to turn on separate bulbs, also make sure you test the current draw with a multimeter to make sure you know how much juice your pulling.

This is an old school pre discharger discharger. It's as safe as running any motor you just need to monitor the cell voltage with an alarm.

Mines the same but a lot more wiring. I use 4 bulbs but both filaments. 2 of my bulbs are optional only 2 are required but that's still 4 filaments. At all four bulbs it can drain a 3S 6000 milliamp hour pack in about 20 minutes probably a little less.

A fast way to discharge a lipo battery is to hammer a nail through the centre of it. That discharges your battery really quick. Also if you want to charge them up real quick then stick them in the microwave at full power for three minutes. You can also test the charge voltage by touching your tongue with both terminals. If you feel a slight tingle that means that the battery is fully charged. If anyone else needs some good battery advice than please leave a comment and I will get back to you. I am an expert when it comes to these tape off things. 🔋

A 3s 5200mah is only 50 to 60 it's not really worth it to care to much about them as long as you take care of it, mine has lasted 3 years with no discharge I mean yeah I never let them sit for to long without a charge but that's normal
