Patience young grasshopper! I love painting this design because it gives me a chance to do some airbrushing and some brush painting. While the design isn't quite what a grasshopper looks like it's still a fairly realistic looking and possibly appetizing look to the grasshopper...I mean, I'd eat it if I were a fish...

Even if the colors were darker than you desired, it won't matter much to the fish. On top water lures, they mostly see a silhouette again the light from the sky. I think the colors and eyes are great.

Well looking pretty good...I ended up buying 100 pcs of those grasshoppers a year ago haven't painted any yet...but you're grasshopper looks good...
