Brilliant video! The editing was the best part, thanks for not making us sit through every screw that was removed!

Thank you for the video. It was very helpful, I found two challenges that occurred during the removal of the glove box.
The first was getting the air vent out of the dash. Those four simple plastic spring clips are hard to get to on one side and all four must be pulled out before the vent will come out. All four clips in my RR would spring back as soon as released. It required monkeying around with fine steel rods to get all four held out of the way requiring two pairs of hands where only a few fingers will fit, Much cursing ensued.
The other challenge was the two screws that hold the glove box lock in place. Yes, they are awkward to get at. So awkward that they had been installed with stripped Torx sockets. I had to drill the blighters out! That was PITA.
All this just to remove two screws in a stupid place. They are never going back in my car!

Thanks for the great video. Nice and detailed.
I think I need to get to one of the relays on the back of the fuse board and presume I need to get to it by removing all these bits. This is the first video I found to show me how to do it without doing damage ! So I'm very grateful. Keep the vids coming, they're great !
    Thanks again.

Great video, ive just done mine and ran into a problem, the two screws that hold on the glovebox latch kept spinning, so watched this video and found they dont need to be removed, once you slide the glovebox out, you can just unhook the cable.

Helpful video, however when removing the corner wood panel, there is a screw that is under the top of the dash. You will not be able to remove this panel without unscrewing first. Your video shows the panel removed without this screw present. I assume yours was not in place from a previous removal or just broken and not replaced. 🙂👍

Amazon video !! But did you find a way to connect a iPod, aux ? Anything lol ? I have seen a kit that requires to install by taking cd changer out it’s why I wanted to know before I proceed taking that off and it might not work, cause my cd changer is not working properly

@@bouncefan if you are going to replace it with another cd changer there might be an option from a X5 but I suspect they may be different connectors. It might also vary depending on what year you have (not sure if RR changed around 2005 or not) - if you’ve not tried already you could try some of the L322 forums, there’s normally a lot of info on them. Sorry we can’t be of more help.
