Today is Father's day. Today is the 11th anniversary of the last time I saw my father alive. He died the next morning. He and I also shared poetry much like you and your father. Thank you for releasing this today. My soul is still mending and this is helping.

I feel ya I lost my dad 2 years ago and had wounded healer playing on repeat for about a month after even played a small portion at the funeral. I got to tell him in person about it at his concert here In AZ and it meant the world to me. Amazing how handful of words from someone you barely know can give you strength in your weakest moments.

But in that context their age was relevant because Hajile said he was too young and was 14, so Max said he was 14 too and was able to see Watsky.
Wounded Healer is my favorite Watsky song of all time, so hearing this was pretty awesome.

FUCKING GORGEOUS!, as always, Watsky. I'm never going to find your work uninteresting or displeasing. While this rendition of "Wounded Healer" is definitely more soulful that the original sample you uploaded 5 years ago, I don't feel it captured the true heavyhearted sorrow that the a-fore mentioned sample. I found out yesterday (Father's Day) that my grandfather, who lives on the opposite side of the country as I do, has less than a month to live. He was diagnosed with kidney cancer a couple years before I was born, living due to its remission, but just recently found out that it didn't go into remission for long and that he had many, many other kinds of cancer now infesting nearly every part of his body. This was a great upload for Father's Day.
Was lucky enough to be there for this performance. This was my favorite part of the set. Made my night

I don't think he has rights to most of the samples on that mixtape. Since Spotify serves ads, it's pretty much impossible to put it up and claim no one is getting money from it.
