Theodore seizure boy is based on his childhood. I believe Watsky is epileptic so he wears the sunglasses so the flashing lights don't trigger anything. Again, not sure, just a theory
In general, some people have anxiety about being in front of people despite being famous and performing for big crowds often. Also the brights lights part lol and then some people just have an aesthetic
any show where he can’t control the lights he wears the darkest glasses he owns, i’ve noticed, it’s gotta be to make the lights less triggering for sezuires
Also if you've ever performed on stage those lights can hurt your eyes. But all the other replies here are valid as well. Also I get migraines and the lights really make them super horrible!
