Hello James please take your time with filming the but you go so fast with the camera its not easy to follow. Its very interesting for expats to see how they build and what you are doing. Construction points , rebar in the kolomes, making the rebar and the floorbeams ect ect it will give you more viewers. Succes
Interesting to contrast with my project. I am going out there this afternoon to burn more brush. My home is a single bedroom bungalow so much simpler, but the only problem that I am having is obtaining the roofing material that I want. It's a polymer material made in the Philippines but seems to be hard to get. My inquiry to the manufacturer has even been slow, and when I asked for a revised quote I hear crickets. I will use colored metal roof if I have to and they will lose the sale! Good luck on your project!
We are going with the metal roof. We want to have a lot of kids so we thought it would be better to just go with 3 bedrooms now, it’s only going to cost more to expand later.
the onething i wish i could find is insulation to insulate walls and attic , thats the only thing that i didnt like when we built our house is no insulation . but we did find some radiant heat barrier in rollls and was able to do the attic which did help a good bit . you doing aircondition , split aircon ?
@JamesandKarenadventures just be sure to get a aircon with good SEER rating, it will save you money on electric bill . We got a spilt airconditioner with high seer rating and was cooling better then the window unit and cost less to operate . The spilt cost more but it the money you save by getting a good one will save you on electric bill . I have been shopping lately at hardware stores so I don't know if they have any insulation that's better then what I got at the time . If someone would import insulation they would make a lot of money 💰 lol
Looking forward to watching another build in the Philippines

Maybe we will have one window mounted airconditioner. Insulation is very important I will definitely see what's available.
