- Today's video consists of two different days. The first day was the first time I ever salt water fished. It was so much fun that I had to return a couple of days later. Squab ends up catching 2 yellowtail and 2 bonito. I only caught 2 bonito the first day and another 4 bonito the other day. A really cool experience! Let me know what your favorite charters are for salt water fishing!
Davey's Locker is really cool but I do not recommend going on this trip if you do not know how to fish. You should at least know a little bit about fishing and have a little bit of experience. There was a lot of people that looked like they never fished before. They were crossing lines and not catching ANY fish. So I would say go fishing a couple of times before you come on this charter. The staff is really helpful. They teach you how to bait up and how to follow your line.
Just know that there is a $2 fee for your fish bag, and an extra $5 is you want to enter the jackpot (biggest fish takes all $$$). Also the food is kind of on the pricey side so be sure to bring a lot of water or be prepared to spend a lot of money.

I would say you will easily spend $100 for each person. If you get a ticket try to get a meal voucher and it helps out a little. Also depends if you like to drink or not. If you can bring your own water bottles

Bro that's crazy I use those shakespeare tiger rods for catfish and carp fishing. But damn I did think they were that strong! Haha I'm ganna have too take one out there next time I go for sure....... "it's just a Walmart rod" that's shit had me Rollin brother😂 🤜🤛

is the fishing session 4 hours or is it 10 hours with 6 hours of driving time and do they provide hooks and lures and a rod?

Yeah lol they made fun of me for bringing it. And they recommend 20lb - 30lb line. But they say 20lb is the best

Sorry I’m late but yeah they do recommend a certain size but I can’t remember any of it off the top of my head
What lb test were you using? Do they supply hooks and lures/rigs?
I think we were on like 20lb but I forgot.
They only provide the live bait. No hook or lures
