Solid video and easy spread sheet, a nice first step. This would have to be based on having a company that is willing to buy all your pieces because other wise, you would need to take into account the time and cost for sales, but the pricing is not bad for selling more whole sale. Ei, a large hand made mug might go for $20-$30, and a store generally will pay only 1/2 that, so $12 per mug is not unreasonable. The other thing this allows you to do is work backwards, ei, if you can sell just about any number of mugs to a store for $12 per hour, you can work on improving your speed a bit, what if you can make them in 45 mins? You can also see how much it would be worth to spend time doing in person sells or selling online. Ei, if you can only sell a large mug at $12 to a shop, but $24 in person and you can sell 2/hour in person, that is a nice hourly rate. Or if you sell online and ship it, you earn $20 per piece, but you need to take photos and spend time packing and shipping, but you have your hourly rate. If you need to spend an hour to make a sale online, pack and ship, it would be better to just sell to the shop, but if it is 15 mins, then it is way better online.
My issue is that I hand build everything which means I can't build as many a month to what I could throw. I've found it so difficult to come up with a reasonable price thats worth my time. I've seen others price similar items to mine for £90 for a small mug 😳 but I would feel awful pricing that high. Its very difficult to price
