- The Granite Monolithe column de Corbara (Monolitu d'Algaghjola) - located west of the town of Corbara, there lies an impressive monolithic granite column. It measures 2.7 meters in diameter, 17.5 meters in height, weighs approximately 304 tons (or even more), and features 36 carved faces.
The Monolithe de Corbara, also known as the Monolithe d'Algajola due to its proximity to Algajola, is a remarkable granite monolith located on the island of Corsica, specifically within the commune of Corbara.
This monumental column was carved in 1828 by a team of Italian workers under the direction of engineer Jean Sancholle Henraux. The monolith was intended to serve as a base for a statue of Napoleon I, planned to be erected in Ajaccio - this is the official information.
However, the project was postponed indefinitely, leaving the monolith at its origin due to its considerable weight and size. - Фільми й анімація
You can clearly see machining marks the full length of the column used to round it. Mineral deterioration points to 15k+ years old

OK, I will ask the dumb question. If it is too large and heavy to move AFTER it has been cut down to its present size how the heck did they get the raw stone there??
Because this site is probably 10,000 or more years old at a time when the Earth was different. Gravity itself was different. Gravity is an electromagnetic force, subject to redistribution of charge. They were able to lift and work these with greater ease.
A great catastrophe occurred and the operation was interrupted as it was being tooled.

Я вообще не верю официальной версии. Если объект был слишком тяжелым для транспортировки, как его можно было повернуть во время производства? И где карьер? Почему находитья этот объект такой глубокий? Было ли там приятнее работать? Вопросы о вопросах.

Within an industry there are trade secrets that even the janitor respects and adheres to , after all it benefits the group as a whole . The stone shaping transporting and actual quarrying of said stone is likely one of these industries.

now we know it can still be made, but not moved, like most of these huge stones are. Leaves us to wonder how the people of old did it ! We will probably never know.

Just asking... ( I just saw another video on this ' pillar ') , but why does it look like and appear to be the same size as one of those cylindrical/cigar shaped UFOs that are being frequently filmed by witnesses recently worldwide?

Официальная наука говорит всё долбили зубилами и молотками и кирками этот гранит.. Но для меня вопрос а далее ? Даже в этом случае остались рёбра , а далее ? ещё долбить ? чтоб получить ровный цилиндр без рёбер, а как потом полировали до зеркального отражения ? как и чем ?
@@vlad9vt Не совсем понял вопроса? Мнение официальной науки не приговор, ибо далеко не всегда является истиной. И причём тут цилиндр? Допустим, все мощные дворцовые колонны делались не в монолите а из собранных цилиндрических блоков, которые в свою очередь выливались из полимерного бетона с гранитной крошкой, а то и вовсе собирались из кубических каменных блоков потом штукатурились и зашлифовывались. Что относительно шлифовки, это вообще не вопрос, естественно, были технологии и как правило не затейливые, истина в простоте.
