Hello, I Have the Deh S6220BS. Is there a way to permanent disable/turn off Bluetooth? I don't just mean turning off visibility, but actually disabling or turning off completely the Bluetooth capability on the radio, similarly to how you can turn off Bluetooth on an iPhone. I am extremely emf sensitive and I am going to have to remove this radio from my car if there is no way to disable Bluetooth/completely shut it off Thanks
I'm not aware of a way to permanently disable the Bluetooth function on the Pioneer DEH-S6220BS. This receiver is built around it's Bluetooth function. Bluetooth is an integral function to the operation of the entire product. I recommend to use a Pioneer receiver with no Bluetooth capabilities such as the Pioneer DEH-S1200UB seen here: ua-cam.com/video/ZeH94mRdK5Q/v-deo.html
Hi, I have a deh-s3090bt and my phone doesn't automatically connect to the player. Help would be appreciated. I've tried going through the settings. I have to pair it everytime I use the car.
I recommend to delete your phone from the in-dash receiver's Bluetooth Memory and to delete the in-dash receiver from the phone's Bluetooth memory. On the in-dash receiver, do a system Reset. You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/Z6g0EOPZL0c/v-deo.html Restart your phone and begin the pairing process from the beginning. You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/8t8hiqq2kCI/v-deo.html On the in-dash receiver Bluetooth Settings be sure to set Visibility to ON and set Auto Connect to On. Make sure your phone is not connected to another Bluetooth device like a headset or a portable speaker, this can block the in-dash receiver from connecting to the phone. If your in-dash receiver's clock and radio stations reset each time you switch on the vehicle it's possible the in-dash receiver Yellow Wire is improperly connected to the vehicle. Sir..is sound retriever work with bluetooth audio..?I am using old model pioneer FHP800BT PREMIER.it also plays compressed mp3 files and i have no option to enable s.retrv while playing music via bluetooth.Or it only work for CD alone...Or it automatically use s.retrv while playing music via bluetooth...?kindly help me to resolve this..s.retrv tech told that,it automatically enhances quality of compressed digital audio files.HU does not show any option to user about s.retrv(from function menu while playing via bluetooth)while playing via bluetooth but it work automatically internal..i assume because bluetooth also plays compressed music files?Thankyou.
Advanced Sound Retriever on the Pioneer FH-P800BT is not designed to work with Bluetooth. This is normal operation for the receiver. The Pioneer FH-P800BT was first manufactured back in 2006. This was one of the first receivers with Advanced Sound Retriever. At that time, ASR worked with music on CD, and on USB or music that was stored on an iPod if the iPod was plugged in through USB. The USB port is on the back of the receiver. The receiver originally shipped with a USB extension cable. You can see the back of the receiver in this Pioneer unboxing video: ua-cam.com/video/_7KEIPeTvWU/v-deo.html ASR working with music played through Bluetooth would appear in Pioneer receiver models in about 2012. @pioneerelectronics I didn't realize that little backwards U with an arrow on it was actually a button. I thought it was just part of the faceplate. Turns out it actually works. Used my phone with the radio for the first time today it was awesome hands-free. Thank you for this video.

Hi, I was able to connect my android phone. It says its connected with audio, but music wont play. When I switch SRC between sound sources, cant find bluetooth there at all, its only aux, radio, and usb. Any tips how I can get the sound to play ? Im using samsung galaxy 51
To playback music from your phone you'll need to use the in-dash receiver's Bluetooth Audio Source. If BT Audio doesn't show up in the Source list, you'll need to switch it on in the receiver's System Menu. Take a look at this How To video from Pioneer: ua-cam.com/video/Z6g0EOPZL0c/v-deo.html Next, be sure you phone is connected through Bluetooth and choose the receiver's BT Audio source. @@oscardelangel1895 you are the BEST! I have been living with this issue for MONTHS! I google searched and talked to my car stereo installer etc. Thank goodness I found your comment. ♥️
I was having the same issue also. I just bought a truck that had a pioneer, and I was having trouble with my bt phone being kicked off from the stereo. Once I deleted all of the pre existing devices, my phone instantly connected and wasn't kicked off. So maybe that's what you're going through as well?
My phone use to always automatically connect, but now every time I turn the car off and turn it back on for my numerous commutes, I have to go to Phone Menu

It is the same situation, the calling system is working right and the screen keeps showing the CONN FAILED message and the multimedia cannot be played in the car audio.
What phone are you using? What version of the phone OS? Please be sure your phone is not connected to any other device such as a headset or portable speaker. This may block the in-dash receiver from connecting to the phone for audio. Many Pioneer in-dash receivers are capable of connecting to more than one phone at the same time. 2 phones can be actively connected for phone calls and 1 can be connected for audio. Please be sure your phone is the one connected for audio. To check this, Press the Phone Button and scroll to DEVICELIST. Press enter to see the list. Scroll through available devices that have been previously paired with the in-dash receiver. Look for a * next to the active phone. Change the in-dash receiver to the Radio source. I am extremely emf sensitive and I am going to have to remove this radio from my car if there is no way to disable Bluetooth/completely shut it off
Thanks
I'm not aware of a way to permanently disable the Bluetooth function on the Pioneer DEH-S6220BS. This receiver is built around it's Bluetooth function. Bluetooth is an integral function to the operation of the entire product.
I recommend to use a Pioneer receiver with no Bluetooth capabilities such as the Pioneer DEH-S1200UB seen here: ua-cam.com/video/ZeH94mRdK5Q/v-deo.html
Thank you so much, I had trouble trying to connect my cellphone, but because this video I was able to do it 👍👍👍

My headset does not have a band button it does have a what looks like a reverse arrow that says band next to it I don't know what that means any ideas?
If you have the DEH-X6800BT, the band button is on the bottom left corner of the faceplate. Please verify your model number.
If needed, contact our Product Support at 1-800-421-1404, select option 1. They will assist you.
@pioneerelectronics I didn't realize that little backwards U with an arrow on it was actually a button. I thought it was just part of the faceplate. Turns out it actually works.

Many Pioneer receivers are capable of being connected to more than one phone at the same time. Please be sure your in-dash receiver is connected to the phone you are trying to use. To playback music from your phone you'll need to use the in-dash receiver's Bluetooth Audio Source. If BT Audio doesn't show up in the Source list, you'll need to switch it on in the receiver's System Menu. Take a look at this How To video from Pioneer: ua-cam.com/video/Z6g0EOPZL0c/v-deo.html
Next, be sure you phone is connected through Bluetooth and choose the receiver's BT Audio source. Next begin to play some music from your phone. It is the same situation, the calling system is working right and the screen keeps showing the CONN FAILED message and the multimedia cannot be played in the car audio.
Is there any other option? Or the device's problem is permanent?
Begin to play music from an app on your phone. Change the in-dash receiver to the BT Audio Source. You may also consider using the Pioneer ARC app as your music source. What about 90s cars, I can't find the wire for bluetooth
What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver?
I'm not aware of any wire on a Pioneer in-dash receiver that enables Bluetooth. Please take a look at this How To video from Pioneer about the Pioneer wire harness system: ua-cam.com/video/kR2MO2kwFug/v-deo.html

Next delete the in-dash receiver from your phone's Bluetooth Memory.
Please be certain your phone is not connected to another Bluetooth device such as a headset or a portable speaker. This can block the in-dash receiver from connecting.
Begin the phone pairing process from the beginning.

hi, i had the same problem. my phone was connected to the stereo bluetooth but the music was not playing (it was only heard on my phone) but then i found that the bluetooth audio function was turned off . first you have to press the spinning circle to open the menu, then you scroll to look for the SYSTEM option and press again, you would find and option that says BLUETOOTH AUDIO ON/OFF , mine was off , so changing it to on resolve my problem. I hope this help you.

The Pioneer DEH-X6800BT was available back in 2015-2016. If you want to find one now I recommend and on-line service like ebay or something similar. If you want a modern Pioneer in-dash receiver I recommend the Pioneer DEH-S6220BS seen here: ua-cam.com/video/0UgoK9v_KcM/v-deo.html It's available from many retailers in the US. Thanks a lot. It worked
This helped to connect my phone but I can't play music on it but I can receive call and that
With your phone connected to the in-dash receiver through Bluetooth, I recommend to change the in-dash receiver to the BT Audio Source. Press the SRC button until you see BT Audio. Start to play some music on your phone. Put the phone's music volume to 50-75%. Adjust the volume on the in-dash receiver. What model number of Pioneer in-dash receiver do you have? You can usually find the model number near one of the corners of the face of the in-dash receiver. Or do you mean no sound from Bluetooth Audio music? Or do you mean no sound from any music source? You can find more videos on Pioneer's You Tube Channel here: ua-cam.com/users/pioneerelectronics
