- Drove by this home and noticed the unusual amount of tree branches growing over their vehicles and driveway. I decided to loop around and go check out to see what's going on. Knocked on the door and the homeowner answered. He told me that he's been dealing with a lot of medical & health issues. All of his lawn mowers were broken as well. He hasn't been able to upkeep the property for years! I told him that I'd be willing to clean up his entire property and even install some fresh new mulch in his front yard beds. He was truly thankful before & after the service. The job was definitely more suited for a hazmat team as some of the items & piles of "who knows what" had an awful smell. Not sure what it was. To make matters worse, I forgot to bring my mask...
However, I made the property look like new again, and gave this homeowner a fresh start.

I tell my clients: I mow, weed-eat, and blow, that's it.
So, the original person above who commented that this is a testament to Fill's mission was spot on. That's NOT typical lawn care work.
I guarantee he makes 10-fold from UA-cam on these jobs as opposed to what the client would have ever offered. But Fills lawn business is doing great. This extra UA-cam stuff is an opportunity to give back and I for one admire it. I'm just speculating of course but either way, I'm sure Fill doesn't need to dig around in anyones trash to feed the kids. lol @@dustinwilson8108

Wow, wow, and wow. That wasn't a transformation. That was a full on restoration! It looks great. Corralling the tires, etc, mowing, trimming, etc, and the mulch was the icing on the cake. You really took this above and beyond. Excellent results, Fill. You should be very proud.
It looks like there is ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and hoarding involved at that house in addition to the health issues.

You really helped Randy out and made his home beautiful once again and now when he is able to get his car fixed again and his health is better he will enjoy his life again. My favorite part is the gardens in the front law. cleaning off the cars and also fixing his side warm room for the tires he prizes. You know, Fill, you deserve an award, such as 'Humanitarian of the Year' or similar. Really, what you did for this man was awesome and he should feel a great burden lifted off of him. Every bit of the clean-up was impressive, but the 'pièce de résistance' was the restoration of the flower beds with fabric & mulch. @@gs1100ed But why doesn't this person have any friends who would help? If something had me on the edge, I have quite a few people who would never allow me to devolve in to a situation like this. They would easily come mow my lawn or chip in together and hire somebody to maintain it until my situation got better.
I can understand maybe not having any family left in the area, but why no friends willing to look out for him? Says a lot if you ask me. I've had neighbors who I wouldn't spend one ounce of energy on because of the jerks they were. I've also had a neighbor who I did exactly what I'm talking about, helped her out with misc things during any of her medical issues.

Just cleaning up the fenceline, driveway, and around the mailbox was a HUGE improvement.

I can only imagine what the inside of the house looks like with the outside so trashed. Gotta say,you're a better man than me. That situation didn't happen overnight.
I can understand how easily it can get overwhelming. Fill totally killed it on this one, and I’m sure that his effort was extremely appreciated.
I agree with Michael Tondi on this one. Yes, Fill mentioned near the start of the video that the gentleman had battled some health issues and was having a hard time maintaining.
But being unable to maintain a yard does NOT imply one throws all their trash and crap all over the yard.
Okay, I can see those trees getting such low and overhanging branches, and the flower beds being out of control.
But neglecting maintenance does NOT put lots of old tires, trash bags, dog carriers, etc. into the yard. Someone had to make an effort to intentionally put those things there.
That's where I think the line should be drawn between truly helping someone in need, versus enabling laziness and trashiness. There IS a difference.
Just my thoughts on the matter, anyway.

Exactly, well said! This is another video that angers me. So many people truly need the help, and these people obviously are the type that will not appreciate Fill’s efforts. They have been living like pigs for years, and this will not change by someone cleaning up their mess. Kudos to Fill for doing it. I personally would have driven on, and found an elderly person who cared for and loved their property for many years but now needs assistance.

Flabbergasted 😮 Thank you for doing this gentleman's front and side yards. As someone who has health issues as well as depression, it sometimes feels as if nobody cares. And then people are so judgemental. This adds to the feeling of depression because you want to do chores, but you are physically and/or unable to do so. This help that you provided will give a jolt of happiness to this man.
To the homeowner, i would look into trying to sell / give away what you dont need. Become a minimalist. This has helped me to be able to take care of myself, giving me a sense of accomplishment.

Nah, you're not weird. Normal in my eyes. The only furniture I have is a dresser, two side tables , a desk, and a bed. I got rid of everything else. My landlord didn't think I had actually moved in when she did the inspection. 😆 I told her this is the only way I can keep things clean. Too much, and my back starts to hurt, and I can't breathe. Anyways, God bless 🙌

What a huge gift you gave this man. It looks amazing! This was one of most extreme transformations I have seen you complete. The dirt, limbs and leaves removed was a game changer not withstanding all the rubbish you picked up.

Sometimes these jobs need more than one person..that was alot for you to take on by yourself..maybe ask your friends or family if they want to help or maybe someone from your church.
