- This summer we were lucky enough to head back over to mainland Europe for a month after spending the last two years in the UK. We both work full-time from home and all our trips are when we can take time off and this was our big one of 2021 so it was exciting to take the Landy further afield. Heyy!! That was a nice relaxing video. Those narrow streets in the mountains reminds me of my camping holiday in austria two years ago! Those roads were not good with the lowered bmw we drove, wish we would've had a landy like you to go up there 😁

I guess you know your way around the land rover, have you had any emergency maintenance?
Luckily it's recently been preventative maintenance rather than emergency repairs, but on our trip to Cornwall in 2020 we had to replace our head-gasket in a campsite field! 😅😂

Great watching you 4 driving around Switzerland and Italy. The Gothard crossing looks more impressive than ours in 2015 ua-cam.com/video/cdW5UNo2IEg/v-deo.html. The pictures of Italy remind me of the last days of our Holliday. Looking forward to part 4.

Hey Andrea 👋 glad you enjoyed the video! 2:25 was just next to the Gotthard Pass in Switzerland, it's a 4x4 spot on Park4Night. The spot at 5:40 was also on the Gotthard Pass, but a bit further down ☺️ Hope that helps!

how do you find the off road trails and camp spots? ioverlander and wickloc???
Hey Lee! We mostly use Park4Night to find our campspots and set it to only show us "4x4" or "surrounded by nature" spots. Sometimes it takes a while to find the gems but it's worth it! A couple of times though we've turned up to a 4x4 campspot to find that it's been bulldozed and turned into a housing estate...not ideal 😆
For trails in the UK and Europe we've used Wikiloc and it's been great, but we always check for any signposts on the actual tracks to make sure we're allowed, rather than relying on what we find online 😅
