Hi MaxMerc. I have question, when you leave the car, lock it, later on or next day come to car and turn on the engine, audio turns on automatically from iPod (like you listen music from radio, or CD), or you have to open glove box, turn on iPod first?
I have a 2021 GLB250 and I can’t seem to get it to connect to my iPod via Bluetooth nor via cable 😢 any advice? I probably could do aux but I don’t think my truck even has an outlet for aux.
This works fine with my 2008 Mercedes C300 but because I have an iPhone Xs Max I had to pick up a 30 pin to lightning connector. I have full functionality with Apple Music but it will not charge the phone. The phone functions still work and incoming calls pause the music until the call is either accepted and completed or rejected.
That’s bcuz you bought the wrong part, if you want song IDs (except artwork) on your display and cluster both then go for Media Interface UCI it supports Apple iPod as well but costs you more for sure
The model year of the car is irrelevant!! It is only the ipod kit that works only through the steeringwheel buttons and instrument display.. If you install the media interface on a 2007-2011model you controll it via the big screen.
Hi there, I also got a Mercedes with the 30 pin cable in the glovebox, and would like to connect a bluetooth adaptor to it. Was anyone successful doing that? I purchased a VMA3000A adapter, but the plug isn't the same :(
+Pierre Christen I myself considered doing the bluetooth adapter but never got the chance to do it, I have read some success stories and with the right adapter it should work very well.
Robert Weißenberg No.. That is a different kit. But yes, you can use it on ALL Command units for Mercedes from 2007 and up.. Even older models with Command and MOST. But you can't install it if you have the Audio 20 without MOST connections. Not all Audio20 players have this connection. But if it does have MOST then you can use thr media kit (BT, USB, AUX) from 2007models. And even older models when they have the MOST connections. But there are 2 types og the media kit too.. One older and one newer. But the ipod only kit is ONLY possible to use through steeringwheel and cluster display.

Where you ever able to get that installed?
Price pls
You should have the option "Media Interface" in your Audio menu.
Mine is a 2008, Media Interface only came to American cars in 2010 unfortunately.
